After using all winter, I can give a fair review of this product. This is not a very good A/C compared to others on the market, unless you use it as a personal A/C at 2 ft' away. The fan speed is weak and doesn't blow much air. But the reason I didn't return is because it's makes a great humidifier for a single small room. Another problem is that it leaks water once or twice a week, if you use it every day. It cools my space so much faster, and the 75° oscillation really helps spread the airflow evenly throughout the room. The 12-hour timer is super convenient, and the 2-gallon tank means fewer refills, which I love. It’s also surprisingly quiet, even on higher settings, making it perfect for my home office. The remote control and the different modes/speeds make it really easy to customize the cooling just the way I want it. Overall, this is definitely a step up from the one I had before. I purchased this a few months ago in hopes that it would keep my room cool in the hot months. I probably used it between 20-30 times total. Do not waste your money! I only ever poured purified water into this to keep it clean. I noticed the other day that there was water pooling in the top of the unit after it had been running for a bit. That water had an orange tint to it. I pulled out the filter and discovered orange residue, then looked at the bottom of it and it’s COVERED in something orange. Again, I only ever bought purified water and poured it into the unit. I do not recommend this product. As you can see in the pictures, I’m horrified to think of what gunk was being released into my bedroom. On a side note, it also didn’t “cool” my room down.
