The media could not be loaded. I purchased this for my 98-year-old mother, who has macular degeneration and is sensitive to bright light. She loves being able to look out her windows but can’t tolerate the glare. This film has worked beautifully — I’ve left the curtain open for weeks now without a single complaint. Not a professional installer as you can see by the periphery. It was easy to apply and noticeably reduced both light and heat from the sun, as well as from the nearby AC unit. General comments. To be honest, the film has only been on my door for about three weeks. So I don't really know how it holds up. Overall, it seems to be worth the money and does what I was hoping it would do. Specific comments. I do not recommend using the small somewhat warped squeegee, that comes with the packaging, you're better off going and getting a six inch. Squeegee that is perfectly straight. The tiny little bottled they packaged with this product is extremely too small for the window. The size of the door I used about a half a glass of water and just poured on the glass as I adhered the film to the glass again, the spray bottle was extremely ineffective. It took two of us that have never really done this before the better part of an hour to cut the material correctly and squeegee out the bubbles that were very frustrating to get out under the film between the glass. This is not an easy process. Over all comments. Like many other reviews, it's not easy putting on the glass. And it does take quite a bit of time to do one good size window, such as the door. However I would recommend again. Before I put the film up, it seems like the heat was being trapped as it passed through the glass to my front hard door and was damaging the door itself after putting the film up. I can tell you it does repel a significant amount of heat so far away from the door thus not into the house. Now we can actually open the door and enjoy a view that we could not before, because it was letting in an extreme amount of heat and making our air conditioner work harder. With the knowledge I have now after working with the first piece, I believe. I could be more successful time wise and overall product satisfaction with the larger squeegee and the experience I gained. We are thinking about doing the entire front of the house to have a more uniformed consistent look, and because it seems to be very efficient, bouncing the extreme heat away from the house.

Okay, so I wasn't at all convinced on this purchase. My teen daughter moved into her own room for the first time and we wanted some kind of privacy adhesive on her windows, and I was thinking something tinted... she wanted a full-on stained-glass look. I was convinced it would look tacky. I was wrong. It looks amazing. Not only does it look great, it took my wife all of about half an hour to install, including cleaning the window and cutting it EXACTLY to size. We're super impressed - this is very high quality, and does exactly what we wanted in terms of blocking people from seeing into her window, while looking absolutely great inside. It legitimately looks like stained glass. I didn't perform the install but my wife reports the stickiness was just right. Functionality is great, and I can't believe the transformation of the room for such a low price. Absolutely a great value. My son still wants just a regular tint, of course... but for his sister this was just the perfect product.
