actually stays stuck on the window surface unlike others I’ve tried!! the hummers get a bit confused about where to access nectar so it’s a bit less popular but they do use it and I appreciate how closely I can admire them now! This is a GORGEOUS feeder! Hand blown glass is known for durability, and this is a fine example. The glass is thick with a sturdy stem. The colors are beautiful. We have it on a glass window, using the three large suction cups to secure it (two would be strong enough, but the third is nice to have), and using the feeding plug with the little rest. (The birds have yet to use the rest but are attracted to the feeder.) The window mount makes this difficult for the ants to reach while providing up-close bird viewing. The hook design keeps this from hitting the glass window. The only reason this is not five stars is that it is in no way going to get clean in a dishwasher. It cleans easily with hot water (let the feeder come to room temperature first!) and a brush (the included one is a bit small and inflexible; I use a straw cleaner) but the hole is not enough to allow a dishwasher to effectively clean out the inside. The hole is cut into the thick glass, and is sharp. When handwashing, be very careful and use tools that don't bleed. The capacity is small, but keeping fresh food is important, so I empty ours every few days regardless of use. If you had dozens of hummingbirds, you might need a few of these. Otherwise, one is enough for a few birds.

First, the one and only negative, the color. I ordered the red but you can see from the pic that it's at least half green, not what I wanted. However, everything else is completely positive which is why I still gave it five stars. The hummingbirds love it which is most important. I've had many hummingbird feeders, and this is one of the best ones. The hole is toward the top so you can get enough nectar into it without it spilling over. A hummingbird's tongue is usually as long as its beak, but it can extend to be up to twice as long so they can reach the bottom of this feeder. Perfect size, holds enough nectar to last 3 days so I'm not wasting a bunch of it. It is good quality and the suction cups hold very tightly and don't seem to change despite the cold December weather in the PNW. Easy to clean. Good value, highly recommend!

This is really cute but it is a terrible design. The feeding hole is at the top of the glass ball so once the nectar goes down even a little ways, there's no way the poor hummingbirds can reach over half of the nectar because again, the poor design only allows them to drink what's at the very top of the globe. Consequently, it needs to be refilled often. The only hummingbird feeders that make any kind of sense are those that are bottom fed.
