This is a great little workout equipment. My husband asked me to order it, but I have been using it since I opened the package. Comes ready to use with thorough instructions on the safety lock, how to adjust, which resistance levels are recommended for whom, and different exercises you can do. Very clear cut and easy to understand. They have resistance level recommendations for teenagers, women, and multiple levels for men or stronger people. I have used it at level 4 and can feel it working my muscles in my arms, shoulders, chest, and back. Tightening the core gives a nice boost to the movements. I like that it has a soft return after you squeeze the handles inward. It does not jerk back which would be dangerous. Instead, it has a slowed return kind of like a soft close cabinet. I also like that the grips are comfortable and easy for my smaller hands to hold. It doesn’t put stress on my arms in an uncomfortable way like other similar equipment pieces do. I know my husband is going to love this when he tries it. However, he might have to pry it out of my hands first.

A simple effective easy-to-learn and use device is ergonomically designed and provides comfortable but also very thorough strength training to any and all muscle groups in a standing or sitting posture which is crucial if you have high blood pressure or stroke risk. Better than dumbbells and about as good as cables. You could use this up to a very decent fitness level including increases in size BECAUSE YOU’LL DO IT, unlike other training options more time consuming. This lies on my kitchen table. 15 reps through 5 different exercises once a day. Increasing resistance as I get stronger. Really a game changer for me. Doc Johnson

So far this thing is great. It is very sturdy and absolutely works the muscles. Mostly for chest but you can work biceps and triceps pretty easily. I regularly do push-ups and pull-ups, rows etc... After 2 sets of 10 with the setting on 2, I was sweating. The settings go to 20! I'm not weak and this thing really zeroes in on the muscles and works them. I would recommend for any home gym. 4 stars instead of 5 because I think if the handles were adjustable length, it would be that much better.

This piece of equipment is absolutely AWESOME! The resistance is smooth and HEAVY! This thing will seriously work your entire upper body. chest, shoulders, biceps, lats, etc. This thing is also kind of addictive. I find myself banging out sets on this all day and when sitting around watching TV. It's super portable so you can bring it anywhere. Brilliant in it's simplicity. Five stars from me.

I've been pleased with this purchase. It's portable. You can do several exercises to strengthen you arms and if you're creative, you can use it to do crunches, etc. You can take it with you on vacation or keep it handy at work. It's well made and easy to adjust the resistence.

I like the idea that the screws are easy to get to and tighten if the arms get loose. The other device I purchased which is supposed to be a newer version has a cover over everything. I can't get it off since the screws holding it on won't loosen without stripping. So I just went ahead and bought this one. It feels very sturdy. I just used it for the first time. It is much more practical than the newer version. I'm getting in a good workout while I'm able to precisely set my resistance level in order to keep track of my progress. I'm wondering though how I can already be at notch 18 which is supposed to be equivalent to 400 Lbs. Maybe I'm stronger than what I thought. I am not massively huge. Oh well, anyway It's giving me an awesome workout. While people notice I'm building, I'm trying to keep it discreet how I'm doing It. Let'em think I'm going to the gym lol. I just don't know what I'm going to do once after I reach level 20(440Lbs). At least all the other exercises such as for back and biceps, and shoulders I don't need quite the max resistance, so I don't think that I'm going to outgrow the device anytime soon. As for how long the device will hold up, I'm not really worried about it. Probably at least 3 months. It's not really that expensive, so I figure I'll just buy a new one since the workout it gives me is all well worth it. Time will tell how long this one holds up. Think of all the hassle you would otherwise go through going to the gym and the money spent daily. This device is worth it even if you had to buy a new one every once in a while. Think about it lol!

Just got it tonight will update if anything changes but first thing I did I turned it all the way to the highest weight and tried it at that weight and while it was very difficult I was able to squeeze out one rep at supposedly 440 lbs. it still has a lot of resistance but and feels decent quality but I know for a fact I can't do 440lbs. I will however keep it because it'll be a good for reps thing but I'm pretty sure it doesn't really do 440lbs
