Wilton's Utility and Utility HD Bench Vises feature a 30,000 PSI gray cast iron body, and movable jaw with a 60,000 PSI ductile iron base. They also include a large anvil, built-in pipe jaws, and a 360-degree locking swivel base. The dual lock-downs and four mounting posts ensure maximum stability while in use.

This is a very good vise. Much better quality than the one it’s replacing. Everything operates like it’s meant to and it’s put together well. I don’t see the issues others have mentioned in there reviews but I’ve had to buy budget or used tools most my life. So I’m familiar with using junk that only looks the part. Sometimes spending a little more is worth it. The inexpensive Wen vise I’ve used the last 5 years or so split in two while replacing u-joints. After looking at other budget vises from harbor freight, etc I saw that Wilton vises have a lifetime warranty. Considering I’m looking to pay money to replace a broken tool I might as well spend $25-$50 more and know IF it happens again I won’t be buying another replacement. Great vise. Looked at several bench vices before choosing the Wilton vice. Now that I have it attached to my bench, I can say that the quality of construction is excellent. Not too big for it's intended purpose which home use. Added bonus is the lifetime warranty from Wilton.
