Description

The tradesman round channel vise is designed to handle the most demanding clamping applications. Unlike most vises that have a fixed center nut The tradesman round channel vise nut is anchored at the rear which provides straight line pull and even pressure resulting in greater durability. The round channel design also allows for a completely enclosed spindle and nut assembly keeping debris out and lubrication in for a lifetime of smooth operation. For ultimate versatility, the tradesman vise is equipped with main jaws, pipe jaws and a machined anvil work surface.

  • Not US Made - overseas quality (not great)
Buried in the notes - but this is not USA Made, and it shows. Jaws not even or level. Cleaned out clamping screw mechanism where I found metal chips, rough machining, and generally not tight tolerances. Rotating base also had rough, not smooth mating surfaces, and machining chips. One of the glue-on decals was also coming off. Shipping container did not correctly hold vise either. Thinking about having to take this to a good shop and have the jaws ground level / square. Look for a USA made one if you can find it - or I would not buy again for this price. It is a big hunk of a vise, just not the Wilton quality I'd come to expect. ... show more

  • Not made in the USA nor the quality of a American made Wilton Vise
I purchased this vise to work with in my machine shop and the quality is more suited to be on the back of a welding/plumbing truck, not a good vise for working on precision parts poor jaw alignment, sloppy screw ...

  • Heirloom Quality Vice
Worth every penny that I paid. Glad that I spent the extra coin and bought a Wilton. This vice will be passed down to my kids, and to their kids. They may not know at the time what they've inherited, but hopefully they'll grow to appreciate it.

  • Need to squeeze something? Do you have a vice? This will answer your call
Mounted this to a service truck bumper and so far, so good. Thinking about getting one of these for our bondage room as well because we can see a ton of great uses for it there.

  • Perfect
Well made and engineered. I am very happy with the vise. The box which the vise came in is also well engineered having a slab of wood on the bottom under the vise for protection during shipment, well done Wilton!

  • Good heavy duty vise
Awesome vise and the best I have ever owned or used. Only one small complaint is the hammer tone paint on it chips off too easily if you ask me.
