  • Extremely lightweight and flimsy
I used this to mount my cell phone signal booster. I was quite shocked at its flimsiness. The metal was so thin, that when I tightened the u-bolts, they made an impression that you could see inside the tube. The mounting bracket was just as flimsy, and the whole thing wiggled a lot. I ended up needing to mount the antenna higher, and went with a 25' mast. I was glad to be rid of this mount. ... show more

  • Very light weight antenna mount
A review of the Wilson Outdoor Antenna Mount (typically used with small Yagi). I'm not sure why but the Amazon page has mixed the weBoost signal amplifier reviews with these antenna mount reviews. The antenna mount is a nice aluminum build but is only a single bracket. This is very light weight overall. I bought this to be used with a small Wilson Yagi antenna. One antenna is about all this will hold without easily flexing the bracket. I had purchased one antenna to test out and had hoped a second would fit on the pole. But it is too weak to support both at once. I will be upgrading to another brand of steel antenna mount a soon as the weather warms back up and roof work is safer. This works for one small antenna, admittedly it's intended purpose; however it is so common to run a pair of Yagi that it should handle two to be truly versatile. Good quality but extremely limited usage. ... show more

  • It is what I needed and works for me.
It seems to be well made and suited my purpose of mounting a cell phone booster antenna. Considering that it is a short piece of piple, a backet and a U clamp, it did seem a little expensive to me. But it is what I needed.

  • Good concept but not quite right
It appears to be adequate but is not exactly a generic mount, taking into consideration Yagi antennas, minor adaptation is required to mount the the Wilson Multi Band Yagi (3011111), Make sure to save the clamps from the antenna package and ensure that if the antenna is pole mounted or structure mounted to use the Coaxial Thunder Surge Protector Thunder Arrester 50 Ohm, N Type Male to N Type Female Connector amd properly ground the antenna. ... show more

  • Good bracket, worthless pole
I wanted a device to mount my Hiboost antenna high above my roof, at least three feet to a void interference from obstructions. The pole included is only 10 inches in length, worthless. The kit has only a single mounting bracket, so stability wise, if the pole was longer, the wind would most likely move the antennas orientation. The materials of the kit appear to otherwise be of high quality. Mounting the bracket to a stucco was was not very elegant or sturdy. I will have to look for an alternative solution. ... show more

  • Not As Strong As It Looks
The pipe and bracket appeared and felt substantial, even though they are aluminum, so I thought the kit would work well for holding up my small TV antenna. When I tightened the U-bolt around the pipe to the bracket, I did not realize that the pipe flattened some, before the bolt nuts tightened enough. No screws came with the kit - I bought 1/4" x 3" lags and drilled out the bracket screw holes for them. When I tightened the lags, the bracket bent, causing the antenna to end up crooked. I give this unit 3 stars because it worked as intended but, because the aluminum is so soft, I am not sure for how long the antenna will remain in place - surviving winter will be the test. A stronger aluminum or steel components would have instilled more confidence in this mounting kit. Otherwise, it was the best design for how and where I wanted to mount my small TV antenna, at a reasonable price. ... show more

  • 10" pole too short
I used this to mount a cell booster antenna on a metal building/house.The offset on the bracket is not enough to clear the metal trim so the antenna is slightly tilted. On a typical house this would probably not be a problem. In addition to this the 10" pipe is just not long enough to clear the roof very well.I ended up cutting a 4' pvc pipe and using that for the tube.Since I no longer had a metal tube to provide the antenna ground I ran a ground wire down through the pipe. This may not be adequate in a lightning strike scenario. The wire would vaporize and hopefully the ionized air would continue to carry the current.I'll update if I take a direct hit... ... show more
