I purchased these replacement Wii remote controllers to use with an older Wii console, and they have performed better than expected. Pairing them with the console was quick and straightforward, and they were recognized without any issues. ORIGINAL REVIEW: They looked good when I opened them. They clearly had power when I put batteries in, but they would not connect to my Wii no matter what I did. I really wanted them to be good and work based off of all the review but unfortunately for me they did not work. I could have just gotten lemons but I’ll never know. Will be returning sadly. UPDATED REVIEW: So to connect for the first time you need to sync it to the Wii by clicking the red button in the slot in the middle of the Wii and the red button in the back of the controller where the batteries are. After that you can connect them the same way you would normally connect the controllers. 4-stars because I wish that was in some kind of instructions because I almost returned them but gave it another shot after a friend google searched how to connect them. And the sound from the controller is a little off (kind of muffled) compared to the originals.

I dont have a wii anymore but i have a pc so i decided to install dolphin emulator for wii and it works great with my 2 original wii remotes and its very fun but i wish to play with more than 2 people so i wanted to order this product and when it arrived i put some batteries in and tried to sync it through bluetooth, like i did with the original controllers. after a couple minutes of holding the button and nothing popping up i tried going to "add more devices or printers" like i saw in a youtube video. i press and hold the sync button and it does pop up. but i got my hopes up because when it loaded it said "try again make sure this device is still discoverable" and i just think its a little glitch so i try it again, and again, and again. it never ended up syncing and im returning it waste of money DO NOT BUY
