ok, so we bought this unit (12000 BTU) in march 2025, it sat in the corner of my living room for a month because it was intimidating. I knew summer would be here soon so I just tackled it and wired the unit as explained in the manual. the intimidating part was putting a hole in my wall to run the lines to the outside unit. I put a 3 inch hole in my wall and knew there was no turning back now. once everything was connected by the manual, i called an electrician to run the wire to my panel box. I am not about to play with electricity. I thought ok, electricy, now it will work. NO! i had to call an Hvac guy to vacuum the lines and put in the R410A. Now that it is up and running as of the first week of June 2025, it cools as it should. I still have not figured out the wifi part yet...Im getting there. the only reason I am giving this 5 stars is because it does as it should. Its not the fault of the seller or the item that i am a procrastinator and let things intimidate me. My suggestion is to read the user/install manual..maybe multiple times. You may not have to call an electrician or Hvac guy as you may be qualified in those areas of skill, but dont let it intimidate you like i did. Just got for it. Put that hole in your wall and go from there. :)

You need a professional to install this. The pipes/cables came in a separate box at a later time than the unit itself. There were 3 boxes total. AC works great, is quite, and cools my bedroom easy. Mini splits are definitely the way to go instead of window units.

This unit was exactly what we needed. A very easy install and operation. The only negative I could say is the order was shipped in 3 separate boxes and arrived over a period of 4 days, instead of everything arriving all at once.

After 7 months unit stopped working. Middle if summer, it's going on 6 days of back and forth with company to send replacement or refund and they keep on giving me the run around. They want you to give up so they won't have to honor the warranty.
