This was received as a replacement for my 14 year old Vizsla's older worn out collar. This collar is absolutely prefect! The color is vibrant and easy to see. The redundant locking mechanisms feel solid and have not even come close to being a concern. The "hook and loop" latching all around the collar combined with the metal clip give me a piece of mind that I don't think I am able to properly convey. The handle lays down flat and is not going to get snagged on brush or low limbs, but is easy to grab and lift off if you need to get at it quickly. Now for the tag. I don't know what I expected out of this. But it wasn't this. I almost always get annoyed with how difficult these types of accounts are to setup. But this one was the farthest from that you could think of. It literally took me longer to fit the collar to the dog than it did to create the account, enter her details, enter my details, and snap a pic of her. It secures to the collar with a keyring and feels sturdy enough to not fall off. the QR code is a little compact and your camera lens should be clean when you test it, but it did work well. The page loaded fast and was very easy to see where the pupper belongs. The contact points are very easy to see and press. And best of it's FREE. The ONLY thing I would have liked to have seen on this that was not included would have been NFC. However the QR code works very well and I am very happy with it as a whole. The package was very nice and easy to read and open. This is a very premium product.

This collar means business. If you have a bigger dog and want something that feels like it could survive the apocalypse, this is your collar. I got it for my 70-pound lab and my first impression pulling it out of the package was that this thing is built. The nylon webbing is thick, the stitching is reinforced, the metal buckle latches securely, and the hardware throughout feels genuinely heavy duty. Nothing about this collar feels like it's cutting corners. The leather control handle on top is a nice feature. I haven't needed to use it much during training, but knowing it's there and ready to grab if I need quick control is reassuring. When you're not using it, it folds down and secures flat against the collar with a hook-and-loop fastener, so it's not flopping around or getting in the way. The adjustment system works well too. You get a precise fit and the extra length tucks away cleanly with strong Velcro that actually holds, plus there's Velcro on the exterior for attaching a name patch if you want to go full tactical. The QR code ID tag is a smart addition that I didn't expect to care about but actually appreciate. Instead of a traditional engraved tag, someone who finds your dog can scan the code to call you directly, and you get an email alert with the scan location. It's a modern upgrade over the jangling metal tag, though the plastic loop that attaches it to the collar does feel like the weakest link on an otherwise tank-like product. Now for the honest part. This collar is bulky. It's wide, it's thick, and it's layered with material. On a big strong dog, that's fine and arguably the point, but if your dog isn't used to wearing a wide heavy collar, there could be an adjustment period. It also runs a bit large, so pay close attention to the sizing chart and measure carefully before ordering. And if you're hoping the pattern or color you chose will be the star of the show, know that the generous amount of Velcro covers a good portion of the design. For a large, strong dog who needs a collar that can keep up with them, this delivers durability and security in spades. Just make sure your dog is the right candidate for this much collar.

I have been using this collar for a couple of weeks with my German Shepherd / Great Pyrenees mix, and I am extremely impressed with the combination of durability, comfort, and functionality. The collar is clearly built to last, with reinforced stitching and heavy-duty webbing that feels tough without being stiff. The padded inner lining makes it comfortable for long walks and outdoor adventures, even during warmer weather, which is important for an active dog like mine. The army green color looks stylish and tactical, giving it a rugged appearance. The leather-wrapped control handle is a standout feature for me. Dog collars are often a mixed bag for me. I have three very high drive dogs (all of them working dogs) and I have specific needs for these dogs. I always look for a thick collar that won't wear down quickly, a metal buckle that won't come undone, a grab handle that can fit my big hands, a little adjustment because weight fluctuates a lot in working dogs, a metal ring to actually stay on the collar if the dog is pulling on the leash too hard, and finally some outer velcro for a name patch. I rarely find collars that meet these standards that actually hold up and don't start to fray or come apart as soon as they get to work. I was pleasantly surprised to find this collar for a great price point. It checks all of those boxes for me and has been doing great. Best part about this is the additional carbon wrapping around the grab handle. I'm not sure if it does much, but it actually feels better and sturdier in my hand. Great work on this collar.
