We own & live on a farm, and in spite of many cats, we are plagued mice. They come from under our house, where our cats can't go. These canisters are large, strong, airtight and the mice haven't been able to get into our food since we started using these canisters. Our whole, large ,under-the-stairs pantry and cabinets are now filled with these and this type of canisters. Thumbs up! The only con is that when they arrived, there were 1 clasp on 2 canisters that were broken. This could have been from UPS tossing boxes around. The canisters still are locked securely and are airtight with 3 clasps, but I wanted a replacement for each. I wrote and received no response from seller. That's my only complaint. ... show more

OMIGOSH so thrilled. They are very large and will hold extra flour or rice, or anything else that I need to keep super large quantities of in my house because I can't always get to a store and I use of alot because I cook and bake from scratch. Very good to add this size to my organization in my pantry. The right things in the right size is the way I design my food storage. Nothing goes to waste. These will be durable for years to come. The price was excellent and I thought they were just tall rectangles, but they are not -- they are somewhat oval and it's unusal but super helpful in design. What a unique idea. These are extra strength food safe plastic and they cleaned up so easily. I'm used to this type of locking lid so there is good ease of opening in this style and in this product.
