Easy to get started (shake well and push down on the tip). I haven't had any problems with them drying out (at least not yet). White and black are the perfect combo. They write on everything! I love the large pack. I've got one of each in my kitchen, car, craft room, garage, and hubby's truck. He uses them to write on PVC pipes and metal. I've used them to label flow direction on my pool equipment as well as on ceramic, wood, and plastics. They have nice tips for doing fine work, too. I had to go over my writing on a ceramic mug to get a decent coverage, so I wouldn't recommend coloring-in wider areas if you need them to look uniform. I used this to mark the plates of a tractor slip clutch. Worked great! I did have to clean the site and degrease the area of application, but the white paint dried quickly and it was easy to determine that the plates had slipped during run in.

I used these markers for signs I was making for a craft fair. These work awesome. They flow smoothly without any blobs or streaks. They don’t leak on your hands or fingers and they dry fairly quick. I used the white ones on black thick plastic, and it wrote bright and bold. I also wrote with the white ones on card stock, but I had to go over it twice because the white paint tended to fade a little I guess from soaking in to the stock a little. Each pen is individually wrapped in plastic. To get the paint pens to start flowing all you have to do is push down on the pen, and it gets the paint flow. ... show more

These paint markers are just poor quality to get right to it. The paint itself is fine but they tend to be finicky with distributing paint to the tip. If you choose to buy these just be careful and test it each time you press the tip down to refill paint to tip. I’ve had paint just pour out in several occasions and the switch to a new marker and it works like it should. These are hit and miss as to which one will work correctly. ... show more

I used these to augment an alcohol ink art tyle. I had used a regular maker for black lines, and they looked a little gray. I already coated the tile with clear acrylic, but I used this black paint marker to go over my lines, for a nice solid black. I then used the white paint marker to put dots on top of the black with NO problem! Just what I needed! My next project includes going over an acrylic painting that got a little too dark. I plan to use the white marker to pop out certain areas without repainting. OR, I'll use it to cover some small areas, then go over that with lighter glazes or alcohol inks to brighten it up. ... show more

Metal housing with the bead inside that allows you to thoroughly mix your paint while shaking (just like in a can of spray paint). This set has a slew of pens and they're each individually sealed in plastic, guaranteeing that each one you pull from the pack will be fresh and ready to go when you need it. Paint comes out just like you'd expect and the coverage is good. In my final picture you can see where the white gets a little thin in comparison to the black, but that's usually the case and I expect that with enough time given to drying between coats, you'd eventually completely cover whatever shade you were trying to hide. ... show more
