These Markers or Pens are absolutely amazing, they’re just like I imagined, I absolutely love them. They can draw on a lot of surfaces, there super fun to use, and they dry pretty quickly but leave just enough time if you wanna purposefully smudge the colors together. They are pretty durable but if you do come into an issue with the nib wearing or the paint dried, you just need to reverse the nib by taking it out and flipping. Caution, be super careful when you do this, make sure the pen is facing upwards so that the pain doesn’t drip out. I do recommend a good strong paper if that’s what you’re using them for. Preferably the less textured the better, as well as the thicker the better. How to use: Apparently there’s a whole lot of misconceptions about how to use these. I didn’t know until I read the comments before buying. They are going to come dry. 1. Shake the pen while it’s closed (unless you wanna sprinkle of paint) 2. Open the pen and push the pen nib up and down on the edge of paper or scrap paper until the paint reaches the end of the nib or until the pen flows well when drawing. 3. Repeat if necessary If you do step 1, 2, 1 but with the cap open you can get nice stars on your work. DO NOT push the nib down/press to hard when drawing. If you press to hard you might wear down the tip. But my biggest concern is people saying that these pens leak, they do not leak, but they will if you draw so hard that the nib goes all the way down. Heads up: Don’t worry if the individual markers don’t come wrapped in the plastic like they used to, I’ve heard that they are no longer doing that. Also if you get markers and some are in a different language, it’s ok. I’m not sure why you would get them that way but these markers originally are from Japan. For those of you who don’t know a lot about art supplies, I guarantee that any art supplies you buy that’s actually Japanese is probably the best art supplies there is. Mine came without the plastic wrapping around the marker but did all come in English. ... show more

    • My favorite paint markers
One of my friends introduced me to using Poscas and I've greatly enjoyed them, so I decided to get some of my own to mess around with. This seemed like a great pack so I thought I'd grab it. I read some of the reviews, especially the bad ones, and I did have some worries about getting them from Amazon, but these are legitimate Posca markers. I received all 29 markers, all different colors like intended. A few people said these were dried out/used when they received them, but I'm not sure that's truly the case? If the nibs are white, they haven't been used at all, and I discovered they sometimes do take a little work to get the paint flowing. Also don't be an idiot and shake them with the cap off, that can cause paint splatter everywhere (I remembered the reviews with that and laughed, do none of you have common sense?). Anywho, when you're first "activating" them, you gotta shake them a bit while upside down, press the nib down against paper a few times, and shake a bit more, rinse and repeat until paint is saturating the nib. It doesn't work perfectly each time, sometimes takes a little extra work, but once they're working they are excellent! I tested all of mine and made sure they were working. The tips for the 5M markers are removable/reversable for cleaning/rinsing apparently, although the box does not give instructions nor mentions this (the USA Posca site DOES mention this, though, but they also have no instructions there either... I imagine it's just as simple as pulling the nib out, cleaning it, then slotting it back in? Unsure but I will test it later). I would highly recommend reading the FAQ on the Posca site if you have any curiosities about anything regarding the markers otherwise. ... show more
