"Can I have a couple of those Sharpies? my sister asked me last week. "Absolutely NOT!" I snapped back. "What are you going to do with 24 Sharpies?" she countered. "I don't know. I just know you can't have any of them." Yes, that was a real conversation. I am a pen and marker hoarder and I love having lots of writing options. I picked up the package of 24 Sharpie Color Burst Permanent Markers quite a while ago and I love the colors. I love that they are permanent and bold. They haven't dried out at all and i rarely use them. I just like having them. I have started to use them to label different things and I even colored a few small pictures in an adult coloring book with them. I journal so I plan to use them to write in my journal but they do tend to allow me to only use one side of the paper. They don't leak through but they leave an impression. These are great for crafts, coloring, school projects, making posters, labeling different items, and almost anything when you want pretty colors that are permanent. The ink doesn't fade for a very long time. They can even be used on fabric. I felt bad that I wouldn't share with my sister considering we're in our 50's and no longer squabbling teenagers so I bought her a whole package. That way, she won't come near mine. Ha! Love me some Sharpies, great amount for the price. Haven't had any issues with any of these being dry, tried to use a different type of marker on a giant valentines card that was made out slick board and unfortunately it was rubbing off - Sharpie to save the day!! Used these instead to color in the card and no issues with bleeding through (was a thicker board) or rubbing off the card (which I did in stages so I left time for these to dry. ... show more

I love Sharpies. Every color, every thickness, every style. Truly, nothing beats a Sharpie. I have a special stash of Sharpies that my kiddos aren’t allowed to use, as they don’t treat them with the loving care that they deserve. I’m kinda joking but I truly do treasure them. I recently purchased a set for each child and they were ecstatic, so I know I’m raising them right. PROS {{COLOR CONSISTENCY}} Sharpies ink is vibrant and I’m always impressed with how consistently they apply onto paper. Unlike other brands/markers, you don’t get the lines when your stroke or the ink overlaps. It’s just smooooth. My penmanship and artistic abilities just look better than they really are. Who doesn’t like that? {{COLOR OPTIONS}} There are so many colors to choose from across all the various packages. I have purchased 4 different sets and have a plethora of colors. {{LAST A LONG TIME}} Sharpies last forever. Likely due to a combination of the cap securing attaching to the marker and the marker itself. I’ve had Sharpies that are well over 5 years and still work like new. CONS {{COST}} Sharpies can be expensive and feel like an investment compared to the prices of other markers. {{THEY BLEED}} My family has been coloring with Sharpies on heavy stock paper and bleeds through, to the point that you can see the complete image on the other side. It has not gone through the paper and onto the surface however I suspect it could with thinner paper. {{THEY STAIN}} This is the blessing and the curse of these markers. Watch children carefully.
