I bought a bunch of colorful Sharpies recently to draw/write on slightly glossy cardstock, and they work great! Much better than regular markers, which don't dry as fast and will smudge as you draw, and (surprisingly) pick up lint as well after the ink dries on the glossy cardstock. These Sharpies don't have any of those problems. I'm also surprised by the versatility of Sharpies for drawing. You can shade with them by going over the intended darker areas multiple times, "mix" colors by layering them on top of one another, and create color gradients (using a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol or a colorless alcohol marker helps!). The only downside is that there's no true "erase" mechanism, though you can cover up lighter colors with darker colors and applying alcohol to an area does lighten the color a bit, especially if was newly added. My color swatch chart is made from my current entire collection of Sharpies. Here's what's in each set that I bought: Cosmic Color: Jupiter Red, Solar Flare Red, Red, Orange, Orion Orange, Peach, Yellow, Venus Green, Martian Green, Galaxy Green, Green, Aqua, Sky, Blue, Intergalactic Indigo, Navy, Lilac, Rocket Fuel Red, Boysenberry, Magenta, Brown, Black, Dark Matter Gray, Celestial Gray (I especially love "Venus Green" and "Martian Green"!) I love Sharpie markers. They are best permanent markers out there! I use them for work, home, crafts and labels. The color is true to what is represented in the lid. Definitely worth the money if love using markers in your everyday life.

I have used so many different brands permanent markers over the years and I have found that it's best to stop buying the cheap knockoffs to save a few bucks and just spend the extra money and buy the name brand ! I don't think I have ever had a bad experience with Sharpie brand ...they always work really well and write smoothly. Now I bought these markers to use in my Circut joy and Circut joy extra since I have a pen adapter for my machines. I haven't gotten to use them in the machines yet , but I did test each one on some paper and they work as expected very bright and vibrant! Overall I'm happy with them and will always recommend this brand... I will definitely buy these again when I need new ones! ... show more

These fine tipped sharpie markers are exactly what I needed. The thin tips are awesome for writing in small spaces! The color selection is also really great. Once dry these no not smear. There is no overwhelming permanent marker smell which is also great. Very functional. Terrific value for the price! Would definitely buy them again. I missing I’m assuming the ugly green marker. I got the same lime green color marker twice in the package. Hence, I knocked off one star. I also used the light blue marker that seemed dried out already.
