Protraverse Transfer Wheelchair was poorly designed and manufacture by the OEM. When the foot rest was in the oppositions the two front wheels would not turn 360° and was sitting in the bracket for the foot rest making the wheelchair unusable. The handles in the back of the wheelchair added, added an extra 6 inch to the turning radius making it unusable and a tight location. If you were over 130 pounds it was unusable and it felt like a baby carriage. I would not recommend this product to anyone, it’s poorly made, and unsafe to use. The satisfied customer

The ergonomic back support actually makes her comfortable even after sitting a long time—she says it doesn’t hurt her back like her old chair did. I use it for getting around outside, and the lightweight foldable design is a lifesaver. It’s so easy to lift—I can just pop it in my trunk all by myself. It folds down crazy thin—like 11 inches—so storage is a non-issue. The wheels glide smoothly outdoors, and it handles tight spaces like a pro.
