  • Doesn’t pump well
I replaced the water pump in my 2009 BMW 335xi and my overheat issue was still happening. I took it to 3 different repair shop and nobody could give me a definitive explanation as to why my car was overheating. I had coolant flow, but apparently it wasn’t enough, because after I put in a genuine BMW water pump the problem was solved. I would not recommend using this pump. I have been dealing with this issue for 4 months and spent a couple thousand dollars. Save yourself the aggravation… ... show more

  • Works but not for long
The water pump works.. but it won’t last long. I bought this pump and it only last 7months. I contacted the seller and very kindly tried to solve my issue, unfortunately we couldn’t resolve it. So seller returned my money.. I don’t know if it was only my case or all of them.. today may 19, 2024 I replaced the pump again that I bought somewhere else. Since this seller didn’t ask for not working one to ship back.. I decided to reverse engineering it and see the potential issue. Based on my good visual judgment, I believed what it failed from the pump is the seals built in the pump, water started leaking to internal chamber where the electrical stuff were at, the mother board/green board looked compromised by water damage, also it had 3 cells inside (I don’t know the proper name for it) and one of them was under high oxidation due to water exposure. Over all, -seller very kind and helpful, good communication -pump works but not for long (if I was unlucky may be the only case ) ... show more

  • The Thermostat doesn't fit
I have a 2013 BMW 535xi with 64000 miles. I purchase the the water pump and thermostat combo. The thermostat didn't fit in any way, shape or fashion. I had to purchase a new one to finish the job. I don't know if I can return the thermostat, because it was sold as a combo. A big rip off. Follow up, the water pump gave out in 5 months in Sept 2024.... 67000 miles ... show more

  • Thermostat housing does not match factory
Water pump fit, but thermostat housing did not. Had to take thermostat out of the brand new one and put it in the old housing. Factory one is on the right in the pic, it has a 90 degree bend coming out. New one on left does not.

  • DON NOT BUY
This only lasted 5 months and car sits all weekend. Wife drives 40 mins total a day… Monday thru Friday. Has been on any long trips or anything. This part and $475 to install at European car shop. Should’ve paid $1400 and had a 2 year warranty at least. No car for days now. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK.

  • cheap knock off.
Installed this pump. wasted 3hrs of work and money spent on part. only lasted ten minutes before breaking. Tried to save money. Not worth it. Save yourself time and money, buy OEM. Now I installed OEM parts., night and day between quality of parts. The cheap one is lighter and way less powerful. We'll lesson learned. Please learn from my mistake. Thanks ... show more

  • Works
Works fine, but bolts aren't the same, reuse your old ones. Don't know bout longevity, sold the car right after and will never buy another BMW. These electric pumps last a year to maybe 50k miles. Too much of a pain to keep replacing. My last one lasted a year and was new as well!
