    • Solid bar with comfortable grips
Great bar. Weighed exactly 45lbs and the grips are comfortable to use. Only complaint is the slight ridges on the collars. When you slide plates on it kind of vibrates/makes a bumpy noise. Other than that great bar that I'm sure will last for years to come.

Im a moderate lifter. I’ll drift into the mid 400s and occasionally 500s for deadlift but most of my work is done at 315 and below. I wanted a sturdy bar that could handle my more extreme days and there just arent any one-piece bars that are a better price. The finish is powder coated flat black on the mid portion and the grip grooves are not too aggressive. The bearings in it work great. I have never doubted the bar and that’s important. I would have given this a 5 star if the ends of the barbell where smooth. As it is the ends have a brushed finish which cause the taking off and putting on weights to be obnoxiously loud.

Do not waste your money on this sub-standard equipment. Took over a month to finally get the full order as it is such garbage it kept getting damaged in transit. Even what I finally received is chipped and the outer paint chipping away on the plates and bar. This is on brand new equipment The paint chips are sharp as hell. They will easily cut you and get all over the floor. To make it worse, the seller provides terrible customer service to respond to problems. WF Athletic Supply is the Dollar Store of fitness equipment. Spend a little more and save yourself the aggravation. ... show more
