I bought these to teach my 12 YO to play and I gotta say they are awesome! I see what people pay for some of their paddles, and these are as good as any for a fraction of the cost... Don't hesitate, buy these!

These are truly USAPA approved, as I checked the site. That is reassuring. Set is nice for the price BUT notice that the 4-pack set is currently only $10 more than this set of 2 with the same components just more of them. The 4-pk is a good/great buy. These paddles are good for beginners and work fine. Once you have played got ashile you will probs want to upgrade to carbon fiber or other higher-end material paddle. This is perfect for multiple family members learning to play. I am still relatively new to pb world but like to use different paddles every now and then so I get a feel for all the available options. ... show more

I'm a beginner but I've had the chance to try different paddles at our local pickleball club. This paddle plays like a $150 paddle. It ticks all the boxes - midweight, composite material, honeycomb pattern, right thickness. It has control but also has punch. The only critique I have is the grip is a bit too large.
