This lipstick reminds me of higher end lipsticks that I have, but this one has a very strong rose scent. Other than that, this lipstick makes my lips look glossy.

I am so happy with this lipstick. Almost exactly the same shade as the expensive lipstick I was wearing. I have subscribed now so I will have it on hand at all times. It is hydrating and lasts for hours. The color is nice and soft. This is a win for me!

    • The perfect amount of shine
Color: Pecan Glaze
If you’re looking for a balmy product more like a chapstick feel/look, this isn’t that. This is a glossy balm that goes on pretty sheer with one or two coats, but gives the lips a juicy, full look. No glitter or shimmer, just fantastic shine without looking gloopy. The color is buildable with a heavier application, but even the sheer application is very pretty. It gives color that looks natural. I got the pecan shade and it looks so dark in the pics, but it’s not dark at all. It’s a pretty nude brown. I think the lighter shades might not show much color, but I like the formula so I might pick up a few more shades. The formula is definitely soft and creamy, so when you twist up it clicks as the product is dispensed and you only need to click it a couple times to get enough for a good application. Don’t click too much out because you can’t twist it back down. This is similar in design and formula to the tarte juicy lip products. I love those just a little more as they have a better color payoff. But this price is unbeatable for the quality. To me, the rose scent isn’t strong and it doesn’t linger, but if you’re sensitive to rose scents, this might bother you. Certainly worth it if you’re on the fence about giving it a try. ... show more

Despite the product images in the listing, there's no way this will extend out of the tube to apply like a lipstick - the consistency is like pudding. This means you have to click it up a notch or two, then you kind of have to smoosh it on your lips. Alternatively, you could dip a lip brush into it and apply that way, which gives you more precision. It's very moisturizing, isn't sticky, and the color that I purchased (Biscotti something, I believe) is subtle and lovely in an understated way. If it goes on sale, I'd definitely repurchase. The application isn't presented in the best manner, so 4 stars overall as the packaging and presentation aren't nearly as user friendly as they should be. The product is nice, though, so it helped me to overlook the design flaw of the way they'd like you to apply it. ... show more
