I have hair that tangles incredibly easily, especially after I wash it. Brushing it after a shower is usually the worst part of my routine because every brush seems to pull or snag, especially since I get highlights fairly often, my hair has gotten a little weaker and more prone to breaking. This brush has made a HUGE difference. The bristles are flexible enough that they glide through knots instead of getting stuck in them. I still have to be gentle with really tangled sections, but I notice much less pulling and a lot less hair ending up in the brush compared to the ones I used before. It also feels comfortable to hold, even when I'm taking my time working through wet hair. I've used it on both wet and dry hair, and it works well for both, but I especially appreciate it after showering when my hair is at its most difficult. I've been using it regularly, and it has held up well. The bristles haven't bent out of shape, a few have lost the little heads of the bristles, but that happens over time... and it still works just as well as when I first bought it. If you have hair that knots easily and dread brushing it after a shower, I definitely recommend giving this brush a try. ... show more

I used to be tender headed and while that’s less of an issue now it’s still kinda true. I have fine, wavy/curly hair which is very dense. I tried paddle brushes, wide tooth combs, bore bristles, etc. this is my go to everyday brush when I need a painless detangle. It works amazingly on both wet and dry hair. I don’t style my curls with this as my texture is loose, but for detangling and smoothing it’s the best. The bristles are thin, yet my brush is still going strong after almost a year of daily use.
