I absolutely love this brush! I was so surprised because I have used just about every type of brush. (from Mason Pearson to Denman, Conair, Goody, I've probably owned it) A vent brush was my daily brush for years. The BlowDry Professor - my hair Guru for the past year recently - talked about brushes and said this one is IT. My already good hair has transformed to GREAT hair over the past 10 months with his guidance. My hair is long, thick and dry, but no chemical treatment. I thought a brush is basically a brush. The Wet brush is the best and most comfortable brush I've ever used. I have fine thin hair, but it tangles very easily. The Wet brush detangles gently, but has enough bristles to also smooth hair down. It's soft on the scalp and actually is ok to use on wet hair. They don't get tangled into hair the way round brushes can, but can still be used to turn hair up or under while drying. I have both the full size and the travel size of the Wet brush, and they are excellent.

For us, this is the best general purpose hairbrush for our girls. We started with one, but then all ours wanted to use it. Given its popularity, we saw fit to outfit each of our daughters with one. Overall, wet brushes do a really nice job when it comes to detangling hair. They glide through knots pretty easily and are much gentler than a lot of other brushes we’ve tried, especially when dealing with wet hair or kids’ hair after a shower. That said, the durability can be a bit questionable at times. The bristles and base tend to wear out or bend after a while, especially if the brush gets used a lot. But honestly, that’s kind of the trade off with these since they are usually priced cheaper than many other brushes out there. In the end, they do exactly what they’re supposed to do and work well for everyday use. Just don’t expect them to last forever, and you’ll probably be happy with them for the price. 👍

I bought this for my daughter who always seems to have tangles in her hair. She hates having her hair brushed, but this brush doesn't pull hard or cause her discomfort. It's gentle on her hair but removes the tangles. It's also really cute and lasts forever. We've had it quite a while with no signs of wear.
