    • Great for strawberries!!
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for to cut strawberries into wedges quickly for my kids. I am so paranoid they will choke on the fruit so I like to cut it into bite size pieces but I also have a minimalist streak and hate bulky tools for extra things in the kitchen so I didn’t want something big that had to go in the counter to use and then had a bunch of crevices to clean out like most strawberry tools seem to be. I am so glad I went with this egg tool because it works perfectly for strawberries of all sizes. If I put the pointing part of the strawberry down it doesn’t cut all the way through but if I put it up then it does, so just make sure you play with that to get it done in one quick open and close. Highly recommend if you’re wedging lots of strawberries. I use a knife first to remove the stems FYI. ... show more

Years ago I worked in a restaurant that had these great egg wedgers. I hadn't been able to find one that was similarly sturdy and well-made, until I got this Wedgemark one. It's well-made, solid, and works as well as those older ones we used in the restaurant. I highly recommend.

I would have given this 5 stars but didn't because to keep this in the closed position you need to slide the provided plastic ban over the two haves. I had one just like this one for years that had a little locking switch at the end.
