Powered by a 4-Stroke OHV Westinghouse Engine, the iGen2800 is engineered to automatically adjust its engine speed to produce only the amount of power you need for enhanced fuel efficiency. The iGen2800 can simultaneously power most large appliances such as refrigerators and furnaces while powering any necessities you may need while traveling. It’s lightweight and portable, weighing 46.3 lb. with a built-in carrying handle. When called all you get is a tape recording to leave a callback number. But nobody calls back. I’ve tried locally to get parts but but can’t find other brands that cross match the original . The gen. Starts great right now but when it’s time to replace plugs, filters etc. then what. Growing up Westinghouse house was a well respected brand but now I don’t feel like they care about their customers . So do more research on this before buying. After a little frustration getting it started (didn't need choke), it kicked in really nicely! The quick start guide was all I needed. Nice that it came with the oil and a screw-in funnel. The propane hose was a little shorter than I had hoped, but it works fine. I have no intention of fueling it with gasoline. Under moderate load it is still leagues quieter than my Sportsman 4500. I am loving how much lighter it is too! I can one hand this easily. This runs my trailer AC or microwave (not both at the same time) and charge the battery no problem. ... show more

Bought this generator to pair with a travel trailer for boondocking adventures and it fits the bill perfectly. Easy to set up for the first start and now starts on first pull every time. I love that it has a 30 amp outlet for the trailer. Also really impressed with how clean it runs. No gas or oil smells after shut off and allowed to cool, which allows me to lock it inside our vehicle without any issues of toxic odors. Efficiency mode works awesome. In packing was easy direction were way to follow. Access to oil fill was easy by removing side panel. I started with the propane fuel mode. Directions don’t mention the regulator but can see it in the pictures. The hose from the regulator to inverter has different fittings on each end and are not labeled this would be a suggestion for the future. Following the starting instructions was easy, started on second pull of starter. Was advertised as very quiet. I felt running under light load was louder than expected. At 20 feet 65 decibels. I use this generator to charge the batteries on my camper, to provide 120 volts to charge my stuff -- laptop, tablet, cell phone, batteries for tools and like that. It's quiet enough, but not as quite as my old Honda 2000. It strarts easily, runs smoothly, and was reliable on a 1 - month camping trip without shore power. I ran this unit for 48 hours nonstop, with no problems, when my refigerator stopped cooling on propane. I'd buy it again. First time I ran it after about 5 min it started surging then stalled. This happened 3 times. The fourth time I left the fuel cap off, sounded like a vacuum was forming in fuel tank, and it ran perfectly through a full tank of fuel. I determined that I was causing the surge problem by overfilling the tank, fuel above the red panel in the fuel tank neck. From then on I was careful not to overfill the unit and had no more surge problems with the tank cap installed until it "clicked" tight. This generator is lightweight! 28 pounds! It came on with the first pull of the cord. I live in East Texas and plan on using it in the cooler months for camping when it's not 100 million degrees out there. It powers my CPAP and charges my phone and is SO QUIET! I'm in loooove. FIVE STARS!
