This traditional style generator is not an inverter “quiet” type generator, but it is just about as quiet as an inverter “quiet” style generator. It is much quieter than other generators I’ve used. It is quieter than the push mower I have that uses a Honda engine. It is very easy to start. Once running, it powers everything I need it to with very little noticeable “grunt” during start up. I have a mobile sharpening business (an enclosed cargo trailer) and this generator runs all of my machines at once, the interior lighting and the industrial fan or space heater, without even trying. Got this generator for power outages at home. It has enough power to run refrig, microwave, some lights, etc. easily. Solid build, not too loud - as another reviewer said a little under that of a lawn mower. The unit is heavy but this model has the wheel kit and a handle which is very nice. Run time is good. To get the full utilization, you'll want a 30amp (120v) connector as the household outlet is limited at 20amps. I bought a 30amp rv cord plus an adapter with 3 regular outlets on the other end to handle that. ... show more

Just finished unboxing and setup, filled with gas and it started first pull. Very, very easy to pull, I nearly went over backwards pulling like I normally do on my 15 year old Generac 3500xl which I thought pulled easy. It’s easily 5x than the Generac. I’d dare say it’s within a few decibels of my Firman 3650 inverter, quite impressive. 50’ from my house and I cannot hear it over my woodstove crackling. Seems to run very smoothly so far. Quality construction. So far I’d say this is a steal at the price! Update 1/22/25: love this thing, run about 15 tanks of gas through it so far. Starts first pull nearly every time, 2 at most if it’s real cold 15°f and lower. 16 hour run time powering 60” tv, tower fan and 20amp battery charger. Kuerig and 12amp angle grinder barely make it stumble. Love it ... show more

I ordered this after the 2nd of 3 storms in Florida this year. I board dogs and needed a separate generator for my dog kennel area. There was only 10 days between Helene and Milton and amazon got the generator here in 4 days which left me plenty of time to set it up. It started up right away, powered a window ac, lights and an air purifier and radio with no problem! The first thing my husband mentioned was how quiet it is compared to our old Honda generator we use for the house. We used it for 8 days, and it was very good on gas. I could have plugged in more things, but this was all I needed. Great price, great product, and an absolute life saver in SW Florida.
