The Westinghouse WGen9500TFc EFI Tri-Fuel Portable Generator with CO Sensor produces up to 12,500 peak watts and 9,500 running watts. As a flexible tri- fuel generator, it runs on gasoline, propane (LPG), or natural gas. The heavy duty 457cc 4-stroke OHV Westinghouse EFI Engine features a cast iron sleeve and runs for up to 15 hours on a 6.6 gallon (25 L) gas tank, keeping you powered through the day or night with built-in fuel gauge, automatic low oil shutdown and GFCI outlets. Electronic fuel injection and push-button electric start makes starting effortless. A remote start key fob offers ease at a distance. A lighted control panel spotlights the transfer switch ready 120/240V 14–50R 50A outlet for home and RV and a 120/240V L14-30R 30A outlet. Either outlet is perfect for whole home backup and can power major appliances like the air conditioner, refrigerator, and sump pump along with lights or entertainment centers all at the same time with a single cord hookup. The Westinghouse 12,500 Peak Watt EFI Tri-Fuel generator completely blew me away; I was left in awe by its performance. Having previously used the bi-fuel propane/gas generator, I can confidently say the tri-fuel model is significantly better—it's quieter and operates more smoothly. The key difference is the tri-fuel capability, but I suspect the EFI system is what contributes to the reduced noise levels. It worked flawlessly, and I genuinely wish I had chosen this model from the start instead of the bi-fuel generator. Highly recommended!

Has started up twice on natural gas without issue since it arrived the other day. Loaded it on and off with a hair dryer to test. Includes break-in oil and a 12V battery charger. The push start is nice, it gives you a couple of seconds to stand back before it turns over the starter. It's heavy and loud, but it's an open frame generator... what else do you expect? Hoping it will start up whenever the power goes out. Only time will tell if it lasts.

Great Generator, poor remote start feature IMO.

Pros: Very powerful, starts easily, easy setup and operation, push button start, not too noisy for one this size, lots of connection options. Had our first outage last night and it ran like a top and powered more than I thought it would, honestly. 4 Stars only because the remote start doesn't work like, say, a vehicle's remote start. And, I can't seem to get it to start on propane....but that could be a propane problem on my end. Cons: I bought it for the remote start and EFI. The remote start doesn't work as I had imagined. Maybe all generators are like this...but the battery switch on the generator has to be toggled on for the remote start to work. Like a car with EFI, this is like turning on the ignition. The fuel pump primes and it sits in limbo. At first I thought I'd just leave this on all the time to ensure the remote start would work....but after a day, something happens which disables the remote start unless you toggle the battery switch off and on again. Pretty frustrating really, that you must physically access the generator to use the remote start...which kind of makes the remote start useless for my application. Also, I can't get it to start on propane. Always have to start on gas and switch to propane and it works fine. But won't start on propane alone. But this may be a propane issue on my end or something. Who knows. Oh well, nice generator overall and hopefully will provide years of service.

Plenty of power

I bought this due to living in the mountains and a high fire area and potential power shutoffs. I had an electrician wire-in a transfer switch for the 50Amp outlet and ran a line from our natural gas to power it. In the test it ran flawlessly and the switch over from line power to the generator worked perfectly and powered everything we need. Also like the remote start. I'm very happy with it so far and expect it to get a real test during the next power outage.

Effortless

Great generator that is effortless to start and run. Bought this generator to run our trailer and as a home back up. Hooked it up to the trailer and it ran two a/c units on high and all the other electronics. We will have to see how it lasts.
