My boyfriend had this on his Christmas wish list. The tricky part is that he is a watch guru, and very particular about things when it comes to his watches. I myself am not well versed when it comes to this level of watch gear/tech. I did my research, and decided on this watch winder. I wanted one that could hold at least two, functioned well, would meet his high standards, looked high end and matched the master bedroom set. I’m very pleased to report that he is beyond happy with this watch winder. The box on its own is stunning to just look at on the dresser. Its extremely quite. I never hear it while sleeping or while in the bedroom. I was very happy to see how pleased he has been with this watch winder. I highly recommend this purchase. Worked great but stopped working after 9 months. No apparent warranty. Very disappointed. Have contacted the company for a replacement. Will update review depending on response. Update: Company responded to inquiry promptly and courteously. Has offered to replace defective unit. I have added two stars to original review based on their response. Will update review once again when replacement unit has been received and I know it’s working properly. Stay tuned. Update #2 Replacement received. Works perfectly.     • Update - Lousy - Will not keep your watch wound - only delays the run-down process

First hint when I read instructions and it explicitly noted that watch must be fully wound prior to storing in the auto-winder. There is no control to lengthen or shorten winding cycle. Only on/off. Very nice looking container and it simultaneously supports two self winding watches. It does not run long enough to prevent the need to continue manual intervention (manual winding) every couple of days. (My previous winder (wore out) provided sufficient rotation to I could leave the watch for weeks/months without winding) This provides minimum sustainment capability, but is VERY quiet and accommodates 2 watches. BUT you will have to check every week and fully wind your watch. Update after owning several months - THIS IS WORTHLESS other than being a nice watch case. Insufficient rotation to keep the watch alive for 3 days! ... show more

I received the product yesterday so this is a short term review. The winder looks very nice and is quiet. When I plugged it in it ran for a very short time and stopped.. i had read previous reviews and they mentioned the same thing. So when all else fails read the manual. The winder is designed to run two minutes and stop for six minutes and reverse diection run two minutes etc etc. The instructions say to have the watch fully wound when putting it on the winder. It seems it maintains but does not wind the watch fully. I have another winder that I have had for over 10 years and it runs more and is very noisy. This seems to be a good product so far. It ran overnight as described. I give it a 4 star because on larger watches > 40 mm est. the lid will impede the winder but if you leave the lid open or prop it up a 1/2 inch it will run fine.So for the short term this seems to be a good winder and a good value. ... show more

My husband is very difficult to buy things for because if he finds something he just goes for it most often. I was very happy that I was finally able to surprise him with this gift that he knew he wanted but kelt forgettinf about it and also was not sure what kind to get. He was always forgetting to move his watch and hated wearing it to bed. This box has beautiful craftsmanship, is whisper quiet, and works off battery or corded power. It does not move 24/7, rather its on some sort of timer. Even when it does move you cannot hear it, you only see it. He uses it daily and absolutely loves it. This product works fine, as long as you occasionally wear the watches inside it will work as advertised. However, the problem is the size. One of my watches is a Bremont and a larger face than normal and every rotation it scratches the plastic pane. This isn’t an issue because the watch is stronger but it is a bit frustrating that the design doesn’t work with a fairly common face size. ... show more
