This is a great water fountain, solid construction and assembly takes 15 minutes. One thing that might be considered a negative is that the cast iron spout began to rust in less than 24 hours (even the screws began to rust). I had to disassemble, dry and spray with Rust-Oleum clear lacquer to protect against rust. Now it's fine, but I do not understand why the manufacturer would not use rust-proof paint. For added effects, place washed river rocks in there to pop it. Maybe some water hyacinth and water lettuce to make it more part of the scenery. Blends in better when you have live plants. Great fountain but be prepared to paint it with anti-rust paint or lacquer, otherwise it WILL rust. I personally do not want iron in my water. ... show more

Love everything about the product except the top plastic tub came with a big crack in it. I never did reach out to customer service about it, my husband just sealed it and it’s working great still

    • Easy to install
Product arrived earlier than expected. The hardware was not included. It took a week to arrive after contacting the distributor. I did treat the wood with a water repellant, and I spayed the fountain with a rust prevention paint.

I always had a three barrel water fountain, but when my last one developed a leak, I decided to switch to this fountain, with two barrels and a old fashioned water pump at the top. I really like it a lot. It has a nice sound and attracts birds well. Looks great on my back patio.

The Good: This is an easy to setup Wooden Tub water fountain, mine worked fine from the start. To be Noted: Within 2 days of setting up my fountain the old style cast iron water pump started rusting. I also noticed the wooden tubs were not treated with any water sealant, they simply have a burnt wood finish on the outside and raw untreated wood on the inside. The wooden tubs do have plastic tubs to contain the water but the raw wood on the inside will decay. Since my water fountain will be outside in the heat and humidity I'm making some improvements. I am currently in the process of painting the cast iron pump with rust preventing paint and sealing the wooden tubs with a clear water proof sealant. ... show more

I have been eyeing this type of fountain for at least a year. I finally bit the bullet and ordered it. It was very easy to assemble and put in place. We’ve had it outside for 2 weeks now. The downfall is that the screws are not stainless steel, so they immediately rusted (within 24 hrs of placing water in). The black pieces rusted within 2 days of placing water inside the fountain. If I had to buy it again, I would use stainless steel screws and spray the black parts with Rust-Oleum spray paint before installing it. ... show more
