  • Quality, Durability, Comfort
Color: Army Green Size: XX-Large
I'm an inconsistent XXL and all my other pants have been falling at the hips or been stretched to the extreme. These pants fit me the same way no matter what's happening. I'm writing this review months, if not close to a year after buying them and am still in love. I wear them at least once a week hiking, camping, riding horses, in the snow, in the dry, and there are no signs of wear or tear to them whatsoever. ... show more

  • So Comfy
Color: Dark Grey Size: Medium
I got three pairs in different colors in the same size. Two were a bit too small and one I never want to take off. It's great to have women's pants with pockets that cover my ankles. If ya know ya know.

  • Love these!
Color: Black Size: Medium
I loved these pants when I saw the picture because they reminded me of my favorite cargo scrub pants. Those were the most comfortable pants, so I had high hopes. I was a little worried when I saw pants in S, M, L, etc., but I hoped that meant there was some leeway in sizing. I wasn't disappointed! I'm 5' 3" and 142 lbs and I bought the MEDIUM. I have long legs for a short woman. I didn't measure the inseam in these, but I'm going to guess 32" or 33". I left my shoes off in the photo, so you could see where the length hit me. I normally wear 32" or 34" inseam depending on the kind of shoes I'm wearing, so these are exactly as long as I was hoping. These snow pants are high waisted, which means no snow falling down the back of your pants. The fit of these is flattering, but they are roomy enough that I could wear another pair of pants underneath. In the photos, I'm just wearing the pants and you can see where I have some room, without there being too much room. I'm looking forward to wearing my favorite Cuddle Duds leggings under these when we get super cold. Our temps are often in the teens during winter with some negative temps sprinkled in. The back waist is elastic and it also has belt loops. The pants have 2 zippered side pockets (one on each side), one zippered back pocket, and one zippered leg pocket. The back and leg pocket are both on the right side. All pockets can easily be zipped and unzipped with one hand. The zipper pulls have an easy-grip fob, so there's no fumbling to get into pockets, even with gloves. Additionally, all pockets are big enough to hold my iPhone XR without any magic tricks, so these pockets are generous. When I read these pants were water resistant, I worried they might make a swishing sound when I walk — like some track pants do — but they don't. They are totally quiet when I walk. The pants have a smooth satiny feel. They are soft, inside and out. The inside of the pants are not fluffy and bulky — think of the lining as being sueded and you'll have the best idea of what the warm lining is like. The fabric is thick without being bulky. I live in a really cold climate and I've been wearing these whenever I leave the house. I've comfortably worn them down to 10 degrees, so far. Normally my legs are my weakest area in my cold weather gear, but these pants have changed that since they are very warm and I can wear leggings (or even regular pants) under them. These snow pants are super comfortable — even for wear around the house. They zip up and snap. I love the snap and it has a little velcro tab to help keep things smooth and together. They're well made and look really nice. You can't tell they are snow pants. The just look like cargo scrubs or tactical pants. They have these cool seams in the knees (like my favorite cargo scrub pants did) that make it so you can bend down without the pants binding in the knees. I don't have a single complaint about these pants! They've upped my winter game. I'd love it if they had colors like dark plum purple and wine. I'd definitely purchase at least one more pair if they had colors like that, but I may even be back for another pair of the black ones, so I can wear a pair while the other is in the wash. I know some people are very concerned about fabrics with odors, but I didn't notice any odor at all when I took these out of the package. I've washed them and they came out just like they went in, but softer. All in all, these are great pants and I'm happy I found them! ... show more

  • Quiet & comfortable
Color: Dark Grey Size: XX-Large
I am 5'8", a standard size 16 with a 31/32" inseam. I carry my weight a little bit in my belly, but am proportionally filled out throughout the bum and thigh. The XXL was a smidge large- but not enough for me to want to size down - to allow for base layers if needed. I would guess these would be a 16/18. Pros: Quiet- very important to me that they didn't sound like snowpants. Soft fleece interior with satiny pockets. The closure has both a snap and hook-n-loop tab and there are belt loops well placed around the waist. These are what I would consider mid to high waisted and didn't feel like I would expose my crack when bending over. Cons: Pockets! Can womens pants please start having the same size pockets as mens! There is only one back pocket and the thigh "cargo" pocket is just a straight-flat pocket ( the pleat is just for looks - I'm going to remove the one seam to allow it to be a real cargo pocket) AND both of these pockets are on the right side so if you have stuff in both, your pants will be very heavy on the right side. Also, the front comes up a little high for my tastes and is a little floofy in the pooch area. I feel they could drop the front at least an inch and they would almost fit perfectly. I've now tried 6 different, highly rated pairs of fleece lined pants - even high-end name brand pairs and these are the ones I'll be using on my upcoming hike. For the price, they seem to be of good quality and have been the most comfortable so far. If anything changes after the hike, I will update my review. ... show more

  • Fulfills its promises
Color: Black Size: Large
I am 5-4, 160lbs, and typically wear a large in women's pants. I have the large in these, and they are a smidge big. I didn't want them to be too tight, because I needed to work in them, and I wanted to be able to layer under them. So, I kept the large. I have worn them working at the barn and have worn them on a hike. The coldest temp I've worn them in so far was 21F, and I definitely needed the thin thermal base layer (like Cuddle Dudds) I wore under them. When I am working or moving around, the base layer and these pants keep me comfortably warm in 20F-30F temps. If I stop moving, I can feel the chill through them. I think they will be fine in colder temps, as long as I wear fleece thermals underneath. As for the water resistant claim, I have to say that is legit. I wore these outside, as we were getting several inches of snow, and although it looked like the pants absorbed some moisture, I never felt it on my legs. These pants wash very well, but I always hang them to dry. I love that all the pockets have zippers, so I don't have to worry about losing keys, etc. as I work. I don't feel like these are snow pants, but if you're looking for some good quality winter work pants, I recommend these, for sure. ... show more
