It was a gift for my kid who is 10 years old but before he took it for a spin, I had to make sure it was safe and even with me weighing 194 I was still able to get it to 15 mph and for a kids bike. I was genuinely impressed with this scooter, which took only five minutes to assemble and looks even better in person. My 12-year-old claimed it immediately and finds the controls incredibly intuitive. My grandkids love these! I purchased two after a bit of research. Stays charged a couple of hours after continuous use. Sturdy. I like the hand break plus the back break. The head and tail lights are bright and enables the kids to be see if it’s close to dark. They have had them about 6 weeks and have put about 400 miles on them. Ages 10 and 11 they are both on the smaller size for their age and the scooter fits them well yet will serve them well as they grow. ... show more

    • Screws at top of neck where out

The scooter was great and performed well at first, but in the instructions it says from time to time you need to check the four screws at the top of the neck and re-tighten them. I did notice they would were loosening and would tighten them for my son. However, the screws and the holes for the screws have become worn and are now stripped, and there is no way to fix that. We have only charged the scooter about 15 times since getting it. It does not seem worth the price if something as simple as screws that hold the neck and handlebars on the scooter start to fail. If anybody knows a fix for this, please let me know. ... show more

We haven’t used all that much yet but my one complaint is that it’s pretty heavy. My son is unable to lift up our stairs to put away. Otherwise it’s holds really well, handles very well, does have some power behind it and battery life is pretty impressive thus far.

My 10 year daughter loves this electric scooter! She especially loves it when we ride downtown since we have to come up a few big hills on the way home. It’s never lost charge so far on 5-11 mile rides. She’s ridden over some not so smooth sidewalks and been fine, The scooter always seems sturdy and it’s easy for her. The speed is impressive and not out of control. She utilizes different modes on it and the lighting is good. No downtown rides in the dark yet though! ... show more

Product came on time. Is exactly what was described. The only complaint my husband has, when someone at the top end of the weight gets on this, it does not do top speed. lol It is sturdy and quite fun. Our 9 year old loves it. Battery life is great and lives up to what it says.
