This is the first coat that I bought that had all the features I wanted in a winter coat. I love that it keeps me warm but is not heavy. I was very pleased to find a coat that had deep front pockets that were not slanted and zippered. I carry food for wild birds and the pockets are awesome. The double zipper is a first for me and I found that this feature is one that I enjoy as I don't have to fully unzip my coat when wanting to get an item out of my pant pocket. I like that the hood unzips and can remain at home when not needed, but will be easy to zip back on when the weather is wet. Great value and Great Coat. Oh, someone had said to go up one size, since you wear the coat over clothes. I followed that advice and happy I did. I normally wear an X Large jacket or coat and the XX Large is roomy but not bulky. 12-11-23 Update Our weather has dipped into the 30s during my morning walk. I am delighted to find that the coat is keeping me warm. This morning my fleeced lined quilted gloves were unable to keep my hands warm, which go numb and ache if they get too cold. I pulled my hands into the sleeves of my coat and within 10 minutes, my hands had warmed up and I was able to extend them beyond the cuffs of the sleeves. I continue to be extremely pleased with my purchase.

This jacket is more than a just a jacket, it’s a coat. It has puffy insulation inside to keep you warm and toasty all day outside. It is well-made and passed my priority check list for a winter coat: 1. It has a zipper AND snaps (not buttons) for a quick front closure when you are caught unzipped with one hand busy and need to snap it closed easily. 2. It has functional, detachable hood 3. It covers my bottom 4. Easily accessible pockets to keep hands warm Bonus-extra outer pockets for heys and phone This coat is roomy and cushy. I ordered a size up so I have room for a sweater and it fits fine. Usually, I have a problem with jackets fitting my bust and this one is great, but again, it’s just a bit above an XL in size. Mostly, I wear a Large to Extra large, so the sizing might be considered a little smaller than some people might expect. Especially for those who shop in specialty sections designed for large women. Given the above advice, please note, this is now my primary jacket for winter and I expect to wear it for many winters to come.

This puffer jacket is great for keeping warm in colder weather. It is true to size, but since it is a jacket, you want to go one size bigger. I didn't so it fits just right, but leaves less wiggle room. The jacket contains a hood and lots of pockets to store all that you need. You can remove the hood as well if you choose. Overall, this is my go to jacket for the cold and when I have to run out of the house. It has space for my cell phone, keys, and any other little things that I need when going on a quick errand.
