  • Really nice tool stand (4.5 but worthy of rounding up to 5)
Style: 2021 Model Pattern Name: Stand
I got my WEN tool stand today and I really love it. Let's talk assembly: It was fairly easy to assemble, but some of the bolts needed a small love tap with my hammer in order to get them in place. Instructions are pretty good. I made the mistake of initially trying to attach the legs on the inside of the corners, but after some blood and tears I noticed that the picture had them attached on the outside of the corner. (I want to take off half a point, but I can't with how much I love the assembled product). Once assembled it is nice and stable and easy to move. Next, let's talk about attaching tools and stability/maneuverability: First I gotta get this said and over with, sorry WEN, I very much love my DEWALT and Kobalt tools (but I may add some WEN tools now). Ok, with that said, I bought this stand for my 12" Kobalt Miter Saw. I'm getting back into woodworking but I have to delay the refit of my garage due to family health situation. After ordering the stand I got a little worried that my saw was going to be too big but it fits well. The edges do overhang a bit, but that is perfectly ok by me. I did have to drill some new bolt holes in order to attach the saw to the top, but that as easy to do. As toward stability/maneuverability, I love it. I was worried with the front having that one wheel in the middle that it would tip when turning, but it doesn't do that. It is really stable and easy to move. The only thing I wish was that it was an inch higher. It feels low, but I might be ok with that. I'm disabled and sometimes need to sit while working so having this being a bit low might work for me. Overall I highly recommend this stand to others. I'm planning on buying another one for my Rikon (sorry WEN) bandsaw and planer. ... show more

  • Dewalt DW735 planer fits well!
Style: 2021 Model Pattern Name: Stand
I bought this specifically for my dewalt dw735 planer which is 92 pounds. I was tired of repositioning it on my assembly table every time I needed to use it because it's really heavy! This table is made of heavy guage steel and seems very durable. The measurements of this table and the planer seemed very close, and I was okay if the planer was slightly larger. When I got it all assembled, the planer fits perfectly! I was able to use the slots on the table top to bolt it down as well. The infeed/outfeed rollers seem like a bonus too, and they are adjustable in width and height. My dw735 has the extensions, but a little more support wider is never a bad thing. Assembly went well, remember the legs attach outside the top and bottom. Do that and all the holes line up perfectly. Also ensure that the wheels are perpendicular to the feed direction of your planer so it gives more stability. I can now wheel my planer around easily and save my back doing it. Yes, I could have built a cabinet that would do the same thing for cheaper, but I really don't have the time, and time is money! ... show more

  • Ignore the negative reviews
Style: 2021 Model Pattern Name: Stand
Ignore the negative reviews where the poster(s) claim the manufacturing is shoddy and the holes don't line up. In all of those negative reviews which have photos, it can be clearly seen they're assembling the pieces INCORRECTLY. Mario is attempting to attach the top of the leg with the bottom base of the stand - he has it upside down and the holes are different at either end. The poster complaining the welds inside the bottom brackets interfere with the placement of the legs is also incorrect. The legs go on the outside of the brackets not the inside. Again, the pieces will not fit if you put them in the wrong place. I bought 2 of these and they arrived today. Follow the directions. They're decent. Biggest tip: The legs go on the OUTSIDE of the top/bottom assemblies. The directions don't state that, and the photos aren't that great. I assembled the first one (by myself - 1 set of hands) without any difficulty just under an hour. I assembled the second one in about 45 minutes. I'd recommend a FLAT assembly surface, to make it easy. I used a kitchen peninsula counter top being careful not to leave any scratches. Worked like a charm. The stands themselves are sturdy as a rock and the WEN benchtop tools mount perfectly (imagine that). There are plenty of slots on the top to accept mounting hardware in a large variety of positions. I'd wager that your chances to successfully mount other tools from different manufacturers is high. Because of the negative reviews, I was reluctant to make this purchase, but I'm so glad I did. So far, I have nothing but praise for any of my WEN tools. These stands are great. ... show more

  • It's fine, takes some common sense to assemble.
Style: 2021 Model Pattern Name: Stand
I can see how if the holes are mis-aligned as badly as some review have shown this would be a disaster, but mine was fine. Like anything stamped from sheet metal, it's best to leave all the fasteners slack until it's fully together, then tighten it all up at the end. It holds my Delta bench planer just fine, solid and maneuverable. The rollers are a bit on the light-duty side, but quite useful. ... show more

  • Sturdy Stand For Heavy Tools
Style: 2021 Model Pattern Name: Stand
This is a great stand for heavy tools. I needed a maneuverable stand to hold my Dewalt planner, and this does the job. It is rugged, and the wheels and brakes work well. The roller extensions are tremendously useful- not quite sure how I operated without them. The shelf provide additional storage for accessories and other tools. I'm considering getting a second one for my miter saw. Better than any others I saw on the market, and more rugged and easier to assemble than anything I could build; it took about an hour to assemble. Great value for the price! ... show more

  • Sturdy
Style: 2021 Model Pattern Name: Stand
I have my Dewalt planer on this stand. If you follow the instructions you will assemble the stand in less than 30 minutes. No parts were missing and all the holes for bolts were aligned. I used it about an hour ago today. I have a Dewalt planer on it. Being able to move it around and park it in a small workshop is great! I will get one for my miter saw and one for my benchtop router soon. ... show more
