Built for “Hold Stuff” Need to prop up a 2x4? A dozen 2x4s? Your spouse’s old IKEA desk top? These sawhorses have your back. They’re so sturdy, I briefly considered using them as backup seating for my in-laws. Set It and Forget It No complicated assembly required. Literally unfold them, lock the legs, and you’re in business. My 8-year-old niece managed this faster than I manage to fold a fitted sheet. Lightweight, Yet “Solid-ish” They’re light enough that you can carry them around the garage without feeling like you’re auditioning for a powerlifting comp. I used to build my own sawhorses from 2x4's and while they were stronger than any folding sawhorse around, once the job was completed I either had to throw them out or store them somewhere which was a PIA. I've since switched to folding sawhorses as they are much more convenient for storage and if you buy half decent ones, are generally strong enough to do what I need them to do. These are the 3rd set of folding horses I've purchased (the others were from two different manufacturers) and I can say that I prefer these over the others even though those were more expensive. I'm not certain who Amazon contracted to make these but I'm quite impressed. I was expecting something more cheaply built but these are solid and the easiest folding sawhorses I have to open and close. My others can be finicky with requiring that I snap the bottom tray into place once opened to keep it in a locked position. Closing them requires unsnapping them and I've had one break doing this. To open these, pulled the legs apart and they pretty much lock open. To close, insert your fingers in the tray and lift up. It's that simple. The weight rating on these horses is close to my others (about 100lbs less) but more than enough to hold a bunch of lumber or a plank with me on them. Highly recommend these if you are considering folding sawhorses Update: just noticed that these sawhorses are a bit smaller across the top than my other folding horses. These are 22" while my others are 27". This is a definite negative and as a result I'm going to deduct one star from them. Still like them but it limits what I can put on them as they are almost 20% smaller

Super sturdy and more user friendly than wood diy built horses. They are also very compact and lightweight. Be careful of pinch points when folding though. It will be interesting to see how they hold up over time.

These are easy to use and store. Lightweight enough that I hang them from a single large hook on my garage wall. I have not used them for any super heavy projects, but they work well for my incidental use. They fold out easily and retract with a simple pull from the bottom shelf when you're done. The all plastic construction means you can let them get wet and not worry about rusted parts or wet wood.

Great saw horses considering the price. I use these to paint doors. It works well as long as I am mindful of it's limitations. They are more likely to tip over than my metal saw (work) horses. I'm leery of the stated 900 pound (per set) limit. I would limit it at half that in the interest of safety. They fold and transport easily one handed. I would guess that most of the low star reviews are from people comparing these to saw horses 2 to 3 times the cost.

I bought these a few years ago for $25 and they were worth it for the price, I come back today to buy another set and at nearly $50 they are absolutely not worth the price. Look elsewhere.
