  • The Perfect Partner for Your Most “Basic” DIY Dreams
Let’s be real: these Amazon Basics sawhorses are exactly what they promise—utterly, unapologetically basic. If you’re looking for a multi-thousand-dollar, diamond-studded workbench that doubles as a time machine, keep scrolling. But if you want something that holds your lumber, tolerates your questionable carpentry skills, and doesn’t break the bank—welcome to your new best friend. Built for “Hold Stuff” Need to prop up a 2x4? A dozen 2x4s? Your spouse’s old IKEA desk top? These sawhorses have your back. They’re so sturdy, I briefly considered using them as backup seating for my in-laws. Set It and Forget It No complicated assembly required. Literally unfold them, lock the legs, and you’re in business. My 8-year-old niece managed this faster than I manage to fold a fitted sheet. Lightweight, Yet “Solid-ish” They’re light enough that you can carry them around the garage without feeling like you’re auditioning for a powerlifting comp. Yet solid enough that they won’t collapse the second you breathe on them. Win-win. A Price That Won’t Make Your Wallet Cry For the price, you’re basically stealing them. And let’s be honest, if you’re doing a “basic” DIY project, you don’t want to spend big bucks on exotic hardware. Spend your money on pizza and beer for your helpers instead. Recommendation Level: Enthusiastic If your project involves cutting, painting, gluing, or stacking boxes of old holiday decorations, these sawhorses are your go-to. For advanced rocket science or juggling flaming torches, maybe look elsewhere—these are strictly “ground-level” heroes. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars for being gloriously unpretentious, reliably sturdy, and economically sane. Highly recommend for any DIYer who likes their tools the way they like their coffee: basic, effective, and at a price that won’t leave a bitter taste. ... show more

  • Good, lightweight, and sturdy, 2-to-a-box.
Light weight but sturdy. Good price. 22" across top & 29-3/4" high. Square hold tray is 9-3/8" x 12" (internal measurement). Note the 3 little "wrapping/hanging hooks" on each side. When you open 'em up the legs spread 16-3/8" x 21". 2 horses in a nice tight box. Across top there are 2 little pop-up things, 1 on each side. And note that orange top piece is smooth/hard plastic but the 4 little grey round pieces are not stiff/hard plastic but a little softer and just a bit higher than the orange piece so appears would prevent sliding of whatever is placed on top. *Orange top piece has inches on 1 side and CM on the other. Hard to see. ... show more

  • These Stand Above
After nearly 25 years the last set of plastic sawhorses I purchased finally broke, so I had to replace them and purchased these. Compared to my old ones, these open and close MUCH easiest, and despite being a little lighter feel more sturdy. The foldable trays underneath keep them sturdy when in use and easily fold up. The little arms on the side that can hold a 2x4 are a nice touch. I used these for cutting 4x8 sheets of plywood and occasionally use them as a makeshift table by throwing a piece of wood on top when I need some table space. I've been using them for six months now and I expect they'll last at least as long as my old ones. ... show more

  • Good and stable.
Very sturdy and well built sawhorse. They worked great to help work on my project. They are pretty stable and have a decent weight to them. The fold and take up little space when storing.

  • Decent performance. Great price.
Great saw horses considering the price. I use these to paint doors. It works well as long as I am mindful of it's limitations. They are more likely to tip over than my metal saw (work) horses. I'm leery of the stated 900 pound (per set) limit. I would limit it at half that in the interest of safety. They fold and transport easily one handed. I would guess that most of the low star reviews are from people comparing these to saw horses 2 to 3 times the cost. ... show more

  • Lightweight and very sturdy.
Coworkers call them my bob the builder saw horses. The little fold up ears are great for stockpiling wall studs. Tray on the bottom is a nice catch-all for saw, square and tape

  • Very practical addition to our stuff
My husband and I have been working on houses since we got married 20 years ago. We have a very sturdy set of sawhorses that had been a mainstay in our lives. But they are incredibly heavy and award to carry. I LOVE these cheap little guys because you just pop them up and set them down wherever in one trip! I’d like the to be a little taller but you know, they are just fine. If you are looking for some incredibly easy to move around and agile saw horses these are for you. If you are a serious home builder get the big bulky ones for big projects AND these for when you just need a quick project. And do the price you can’t beat it! ... show more
