  • Solid Construction!
These are very well made sawhorses, very sturdy and the locking mechanism is smooth. The paint and finish look good and I am very happy that the adjustable feet have a solid locking mechanism and easy action. They sit well on level ground and the adjustable legs will help when things aren't so even. They fold into a compact form and the handle is perfectly placed. For those who are looking for a light weight, flimsy folding sawhorse, look elsewhere! They are beefy. The first set I received were missing the locking mechanisms on one set of legs, it looked like they were never installed, so a possible quality control issue. I returned them and the replacements are good. ... show more

  • Sturdy, compact storage and simple
Liked my 1st set so much, I bought a second set!!! I have had 4 sets of plastic Kolbalt ones and broke 3 of the 8... Never again after finding these beastly saw horses, i have loaded these down and have had zero problems and I have no complaints. Just keep your fingers clear when closing, these are built tough and don't care if you put your fingers in dumb place. Opening and closing these is super simple and honestly genius design. Worth every penny if you wanna throw a few 8x8 post on here and store them till you have time to do your work. They will hold them, no problems! ... show more

  • Depends what’s important to you
Going to go w 5 stars. Can imagine others disagreeing. Pretty heavy, which makes them very stable. Height adjustment is great- and easy. All very level (ie this is well made in terms of the main purpose). I like the slots on the end to hold wood. Not the size I expected (I must have misread- thought a 2x4 would fit). But may not need them. Top of horse covered in a non slip material. Plywood on top doesn’t move at all - nice. And no wobble - again, well made. Leg release great if it works! One horse worked, one didn’t. Problem is ss mentioned by others - pin that holds them either too long or doesn’t retract enough - the only thing about this horse that feels cheap. But easily solved by prying apart with a screwdriver. Shouldn’t have to do this. But I won’t be mobile with these so once open, irrelevant to me. On balance, this is a great sawhorse. Just not perfect ... show more

  • High quality item
I recently purchased a set of sawhorses that truly exceeded my expectations. These sawhorses are not only well-designed but also incredibly sturdy and versatile, making them a fantastic addition to my workshop. One of the standout features is their adjustable height. Being able to raise or lower them to suit different projects has made my work much more efficient and comfortable. Whether I’m cutting lumber or assembling furniture, I appreciate the flexibility they offer. The construction quality is impressive. Made from durable materials, these sawhorses feel solid and stable, easily handling heavy loads without any wobbling or instability. I have used them for various projects, and they have performed exceptionally well every time. Additionally, the design is sleek and functional, with features like non-slip feet and easy folding for storage. They don’t just look good; they are practical and easy to transport, which is a huge plus for someone who is always on the go. In summary, these sawhorses are a fantastic investment for anyone serious about their woodworking or construction projects. They deliver on everything promised and more, making them a must-have tool for any DIY enthusiast. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Great product - may need a little sanding on the release pins.
This product deserves 5 stars, but I’m guessing a simple quality control check is not in place for the quick-release mechanism. At first, I experienced the same frustration listed by many others - the legs would either not release at all or would only release after much shaking and prying - resulting in bruised shins and pinched fingers. I decided to see if I could “fix” it. The release is a simple concept - two plastic pins that engage the sides of the legs and retract when the side button is used. Only with mine - the pins were not retracting all the way, thus not releasing the legs. Since the retraction assembly is riveted on, there was no internal adjustment possible. So, I used a pen sander (a dremel or even just a piece of sandpaper folded up would work) to sand off between 1/32” and 1/16” of an inch on the pins so they would retract flush. Everything worked like a charm then - easy release and still plenty of engagement to hold the legs in place when retracted. Another thing I noticed was that while the order of which set of legs retracted first didn’t seem to matter, it did help if the first set retracted was set to “2” on the extension. This allows them to close together a little more and helps when being released. The second set has to be fully retracted or it won’t close up. Otherwise, an excellent product - shipping was good, no damage. Well made and super sturdy. I like the small storage footprint and the clever design for incorporating 2x4 boards as needed. If they had just put a little more effort into the manufacturing or quality checking of the release… ... show more

  • I'd rather get kicked in the N*TS!!
I'm not sure if mine was defective or not. I hope so for this company's sake, but this has to be one of the worst products/mechanisms and design I have ever experienced. Deploying the legs: One of the horses, doesn't deploy the legs at all...nothing. I needed to hold the latch down and then manually pry the legs out to get them deployed. The other one deployed at least 1 of the legs. Adjusting the height: Making the horses taller is incredibly simple, in fact many of my legs you just pull (don't even need to press the button in) and it raises the height, pretty smooth, nice. Now trying to shorten them back down so that you can fold up, OMG I wanted to pick up the whole horse and throw it through my window... the button press to move the legs back down just flat out doesn't work, took me 10 minutes just to get one leg in and my thumb is destroyed... And while trying to shorten the legs often times when I take pressure off the button to give my self some relief, it then just slides 2-4 notches back up and now I have to start this grind all over again... Easily one of the most frustrating experiences with a tool I've ever had. As the title says, I would have rather took a kick to the n*ts... Do not buy this product, do not go through the absolute terror trying to use this awkward, clunky, broken mechanism and design, it is truly awful. Again, maybe mine was defective, I don't know, but the pain of my struggles with this thing were so bad, I'm not even willing to try again... ... show more

  • Worth the spend.
I bought these particular horses mainly for the adjustable height. I am 6'3", and have 75 10' boards to paint. Bending over my old sawhorses was tweaking my back. These are very sturdy. I made a basic paint table out of 2x4s, and got 30 3" x 10' boards on it for painting, drying at a time. Money well spent, considering the cost of a chiropractor or worse. Love how easy they are to store and deploy. ... show more

  • portable, adjustable, rugged and easy set-up
As a tradesman these are great...you can get cheaper horses that will do the job no doubt but I like the quick set up, portable, adjustable and rugged...now mind you these have some weight to them, they are made of steel after all, the weight is not excessive but it is there.
