This stand is not only useful for Miter Saws, one can mount just about any bench power tool and make them more versatile and portable. It is not intended to replace the DWX623 when you need to cut big, heavy or long material but I have found this stand to be a great companion to the 623. I have added several pairs of the Mounting Brackets. One pair is on my big Dewalt Monster Miter Saw and one pair on a smaller Makita Miter Saw. I also have a Tile Wet Saw and a Router Table mounted on other Brackets for quick use. If I need support for long boards, PVC, etc., I use a roller mounted on a second DWX725 and as it is very light and does not take up much space, I can easily move it wherever needed for support. You can also just use a roller or flip top stand. Need a quick pair of Saw Horses? Well here you go and they are a nice height. I can quickly mount a scrap piece of plywood to a pair of brackets for a small table, quick work bench or tool holder. One other nice thing about the Mounting Brackets is - they are interchangeable between the DWX623, DWX724 and the DWX725 Stands. One reviewer did not feel it was of much use. One has to feel sorry for that person as they are really missing out on a very multipurpose product. I am still finding new uses for the pair of DWX725B I have. I have 2 of these, and I really like them. I see people complain that they're not great miter saw stands, and I agree. I have 2 Dewalt miter saw stands (one regular and one compact), which are made for saws, and they work much better than these do. But they don't really advertise this as a saw stand, it's a work stand with saw brackets, and that's exactly what you get. Both of my Dewalt miter saws have the same mounting brackets on them, so I can use my saws on either of my two miter saw stands, or my two work stands. I use them on the miter saw stands for obvious reasons. But the extra brackets that came with these work stands work great on my belt sander and bench grinder, and it's nice that I can put any of the tools on any of the stands. I plan on building some sort of table with brackets on it for one of my Kreg jigs, I think this stand will be a great place to mount a jig when I'm out working somewhere. I highly recommend these stands if they fit your needs. They're basically really nice sawhorses that you can clip stuff to. That's all. If you want a really basic stand with mounting brackets, this is it. If you want a real miter saw stand with supports and stuff, get the DWX723 or DWX724 depending on how large a stand you want. They all do different jobs, and that's why I have them all in my shop. ... show more

This is a very nice miter saw stand sans the extendable out-rigger supports that more expensive ones have. I would have purchased one of them, although much heavier in weight, but I needed something smaller and lighter to tote around in a medium-sized SUV with other tools. I purchased a separate roller support stand for very longer moldings if needed, but this stand is well made and better than older models. The release handles are much more convenient than the original steel buttons that you had to push to disengage. Good DeWalt quality and lightweight in a compact size.     • Great stand for my DCS361 Cordless Chopsaw. Sturdy and Light.

Arrived on time. I attached my DCS361 DeWalt 20v Max Sliding Compound miter saw and my DeWalt DWS780 12" double bevel sliding miter saw on this stand. The brackets attach to the base of your saw and I am confident that they will attach to any chop saw or other tool that has a wide flat base. This stand is not advertised as a saw stand but works very well for the DCS361 20v Max Saw. The much bigger DWS780 looked a little out of place on this stand. It worked and it was stable but I will use the DWX726 rolling stand for the bigger saw. I chose this stand over the bigger folding stands that have large wheels because when folded, this stand takes up very little space. The stand is lightweight but feels sturdy and well constructed. When the legs are folded up it's hard to reach the carry handle but that is a minor issue. Both ends of the stand appear to have openings to allow a material support stand to slide in. I'm not sure if DeWalt makes such an item but I'll research and update this review. Overall, this is a very good product for the price. I paid less than $80.00 after a $25.00 instant savings. ... show more

    • Nice but will require some fabrication on Dewalt Saw -716 model

Nice product other than the mounting holes on the Dewalt Saws are too large in diameter. The smaller holes are also one size too small to mount brackets. Bolts will not fit through holes. This required drilling of the small holes with 10/32 bit. Not something you want to do on a brand new saw. I also needed to use two washers between saw bottom and bracket to level out the bracket and mount it to saw properly. Too bad the manufacturer doesn't know their product well enough to recognize this. I read this in other reviews but did not believe Dewalt could possibly overlook this important mounting error. So be ready to do some fabricating to mount your miter saw and have a proper fit. Mine is a new 716 model. A simple spacer included for the large holes OR make the holes match up in the first place would solve this a make this a five star product. Other than this issue it is a nice product. ... show more
