Description

Produce up to 3600 surge watts and 2900 rated watts of power. The WEN Watchdog CO Shutdown Sensor helps protect both you and your family by automatically turning off the generator if dangerous levels of carbon monoxide are detected. Our 149cc engine operates at a modest 65 decibels at quarter load. This limits its invasiveness while camping, hunting, tailgating, and restoring backup power. The WEN 3600W Inverter Generator is also equipped with fuel shutoff. This feature turns off the flow of fuel, allowing for the generator to use up the remaining fuel from the carburetor before automatically shutting down. This helps fight the build- up and blockages caused by stagnant fuel inside of the carburetor, minimizing maintenance while prolonging the unit’s lifespan. Designed to mirror a pure sine wave, this generator limits total harmonic distortion to under 0.3 percent at no load and under 1.2 percent at full load, making it safe to run laptops, cellphones, monitors, tablets and other sensitive electronics. The lightweight 46-pound design makes for easy portability while the ultra- efficient 1.6-gallon tank provides up to 5 hours of half-load run time. The fully-packed panel comes equipped with two three-prong 120V NEMA 5-20R receptacles, one 12V DC receptacle, one 120V TT-30R RV receptacle, and two 5V USB ports. Maximize fuel economy by engaging the eco-mode switch. This allows the generator's engine to automatically adjust its fuel consumption as items are plugged into and unplugged from the panel, preventing the unnecessary usage of gasoline. Need more energy? Setup is super easy. Instructions are well written (there's a bit of humor in the unpacking section). Just add the included oil and fill up the tank. Starts almost effortlessly. We used it when camping/tailgating. It was probably 75ft from our campsite, and you could almost forget it was running. We only had a couple small fans plus LED string lights, so it wasn't a lot of load. We were able to run it in eco mode (for when load is less than 1000w). I also tested it out during break-in with a 10" mitre saw as well as a circular saw. You won't be able to use eco mode for loads of this size. While the generator was able to power these tools (one at a time of course), it definitely loads it up, and you can hear it chug. I don' think you'd be able to use anything else at the same time. I can't speak for reliability; we've only logged about 7 hours total. We'll change the break-in oil around 8 hours per the instructions. I added the magnetic dipstick, which should be useful for pulling break-in dust/shavings out of the oil. Speaking of hours, the digital readout has current session hours as well as total hours, which is nice. We have plans for an RV and intend to use it with that also. ... show more

This may be a little long, so bear with me. I ordered this just before hurricane Milton. The only reason I got this particular generator was because it was the only one that would be delivered on time. We lost power on Wednesday night and started using the generator Thursday morning. For the first 2 days, we had a full size refrigerator, tv and 2 fans connected to it. Handled it no problem. On the 3rd day it, the temperature warmed up and we added 2 air conditioner. Still handled it no problem. Used it 2 days like that before power was turned back on. I had actually forgot to change the oil after 8 hours as recommended. Changed it after about 20 hours. Used it a total of 66 hours in 4 days. It handled everything I needed it to. The 1.53 gallon gas tank lasted about 7 hours on average. It's very quiet. Could barely hear it outside with the door closed.best $500 dollars I ever spent. ... show more

Great value for money. Very easy to start and quite comparable to the Honda version. Allowed me to power my 30amp camper and travel the country fulltime in my RV I have sense got solar installed no longer needed this generator. After seeing 42 states in this country carrying this compact unit I no longer needed it as I was blessed to install solar on my rig to power it. This was a great tool while I needed it got most of my money back during the resale process! It’s a no brainer if you are wanting to travel and have a way to power your rig without a pedestal. Most cost effective way to get power with least upfront cost. Over time if you decide to continue solar is a great option. The plastic case was cracked when I received it likely from manufacturer, I used my hot stapler to repair never was an issue , looked like it was probably shopping damage. Had a smaller WEN inverter/generator before and although this is noticeably heavier it’s still manageable to move and still quiet. I used it to power an RV and it ran the AC, house battery charger and a big shop vac and still had capacity, which is why I went to this larger unit. I am confused as to why the oil they include with the unit is only good from 0 to 40 degrees F, so given it’s summer what they supplied wasn’t recommended due to temps being above 40F. ... show more
