Description

Remember when you had clean and quiet portable power? The WEN 3600-Watt Inverter Generator provides clean energy, free of voltage spikes and drops, without all the noise of a regular generator. Produce up to 3600 surge watts and 2900 rated watts of power. The WEN Watchdog CO Shutdown Sensor helps protect both you and your family by automatically turning off the generator if dangerous levels of carbon monoxide are detected. Our 149cc engine operates at a modest 65 decibels at quarter load. This limits its invasiveness while camping, hunting, tailgating, and restoring backup power. The WEN 3600W Inverter Generator is also equipped with fuel shutoff. This feature turns off the flow of fuel, allowing for the generator to use up the remaining fuel from the carburetor before automatically shutting down. This helps fight the build- up and blockages caused by stagnant fuel inside of the carburetor, minimizing maintenance while prolonging the unit’s lifespan. Designed to mirror a pure sine wave, this generator limits total harmonic distortion to under 0.3 percent at no load and under 1.2 percent at full load, making it safe to run laptops, cellphones, monitors, tablets and other sensitive electronics. The lightweight 46-pound design makes for easy portability while the ultra- efficient 1.6-gallon tank provides up to 5 hours of half-load run time. The fully-packed panel comes equipped with two three-prong 120V NEMA 5-20R receptacles, one 12V DC receptacle, one 120V TT-30R RV receptacle, and two 5V USB ports. Maximize fuel economy by engaging the eco-mode switch. This allows the generator's engine to automatically adjust its fuel consumption as items are plugged into and unplugged from the panel, preventing the unnecessary usage of gasoline. Need more energy? Easily link up any two WEN inverter generators using a WEN Parallel Connection Kit (sold separately) in order to share wattage amongst multiple units. Low-oil and low-fuel automatic shutdown combine with the built-in overload protection and indicator lights to safeguard both your generator and your electronics from damage. And because this is a WEN Product, your inverter generator comes backed by a 3-year limited warranty, a nationwide network of skilled service technicians and a friendly customer helpline. Remember when your generator powered your electronics safely and quietly? Remember WEN.

  • Best value I could find and I’m happy with it
Style: Dual Fuel + 3600W + CO Sensor
Very pleased with this. Used it to power my RV and did some boondocking. Struggles for a moment when the AC kicks in, as expected, but gets through it and runs everything just fine. It’s pretty quiet (for a generator), especially when not running a big load. I have a larger 7500W unit that isn’t an inverter and that thing is loud. This is way more convenient and you can actually talk around it. It doesn’t seem to make a big difference in power when running on gas vs running on propane, other than it will run a lot longer on a big propane tank than off the small gas tank. I think the runtime on gas while running the AC was 4-6 hours. It’s not light, but its weight is not bad for the size and power. So far it’s started reliably and has been easy to start. My one caveat is the propane quick connect is slightly different than standard an it’s just a touch shorter. This means a regular quick connect won’t snap in. It does come with a regulator and hose that connects straight to a propane tank no problem. I’m considering modifying a quick connect to match the included unit so I can connect it to my RV’s grill connector, but I haven’t done that yet. Seems pretty doable with some grinding. ... show more

  • Value, power, reliability.
Style: 3600W
I run a business with vehicles that use large, very expensive generators. Ive bought dozens over the past few years. Recently one of my diesel generators went down. I purchased this unit as a temporary assist while repairs were performed. It was expected to provide half the power needed, but enough as we use breakers to turn on and off equipment t as needed. This little unit out performed much larger, heavier products. It can be carried off the vehicle to use, runs flawlessly and always starts easily. It's quiet, and has a 30amp port, which is unheard of on a compact. All for a fraction of what I've paid for my other back up units and half the size. I'm looking at joining a second unit to permanently replace my $14,000 unit that constantly breaks. I cannot endorse this unit enough. ... show more

  • Excellent Portable Power Solution!
Style: 3600W
The WEN 56360i is a fantastic 3600-watt inverter generator! It's lightweight, surprisingly quiet, and perfect for RV trips or emergencies. The fuel shut-off feature is a great addition for maintenance. Reliable, efficient, and easy to use—highly recommend for anyone needing portable power!

  • Very Good, Not Perfect
Style: Dual Fuel + 3600W + CO Sensor
I bought this to use with my Arctic Fox camper after my built-in four year old Onan LP generator failed twice, the second time the part needed to repair it was no longer being made. The Wen is a reasonable weight, it starts easily and is a strait up bargain for a 3600 dual fuel inverter generator. It is not super quiet, but it is quieter than the Onan. I rated it four stars for a couple of reasons that mainly have to do with my intended usage. First, the 30 amp plug is located in a funky place. The attached pic shows it is impossible to seat the rv plug in the outlet because the panel below the plug sticks out. If left as it is the plug will eventually back out due to vibration. I am going to shave down the rv cable to make it work. My second issue is I was hoping to use my campers propane supply to run the generator. I have a regulated outlet on the rear of the rig to power a grill, propane firepit, etc. I was going to build a strait hose without a regulator to make this happen. Unfortunately, the pic supplied by Wen does not show the huge additional regulator on the LP hose. I assume this is to control the gas flow when in Eco mode. I am going to confirm this with Wen later. Until then, I will be toting a third propane tank around. I definitely recommend this generator. It will run my 10800 but AC if needed. Can get a propane refill, buy some gas. It is safe for today's electronics. Also, I emailed Wen questions before buying it and they generally responded in a couple of days. Update: The generator continues to start without issue….even if the temps are below 40 degrees. I have it hooked to a Flame King 20 pound propane tank with a float valve fuel level gauge, which takes the guesswork out of propane levels. I have seen some pretty eye opening claims about the Wen’s runtime on a 20p/5 gal tank..Wen claims 14 hours! I am seeing about six hours per tank after break in using a mix of eco and regular settings, mostly just charging my camper batteries and my Jackery generator. On the upside, some items that use propane get finicky when the gas levels get low. The Wen starts right up with 1/4 full tank. ... show more
