The sockets themselves just feel and have the weight for extreme torque. I've tested 2 of them at 175lbs and had zero issues. The case is made with 4 not 2 heavy latches to hold everything in place. Bought 80 piece set and then extensions are amazing (quite durable and greatvariety). Wish it went a little smaller for the electrician field but you don't need an impact rated set for that lol. If I were to go back in time I'd recommend myself to get a gearwrench 1/2 to 3/8 adapter and a dualt 3/8 impact adapter. Besides that it's holding strong, I primarily use SAE in my plant but it'd cool to have both options when working on out of the country machinery ... show more

I had a cylinder head bolt that looked like it was either going to strip its head, or break in the block. I tried my neighbors impact socket and nice impact wrench, but had to give it back with no success. I was losing sleep because last thing I wanted was a broken bolt in the block. Bought this and a corded Bauer impact wrench from Harbor Freight. Got optimistic when I slipped the GW socket on the headbolt, a bit tighter fit. Took about 6 seconds to get that bolt off.
