Very satisfied with this track saw so far along with most WEN products I've owned before. It works much better than my table saw in fact. Lot's of instructions to read up on before using your saw but that's because of all of the nice details and features. Using the supplied blade I swiftly and cleanly cut through a full length of 1.5" butcher block counters. It's important to use the micro adjustment track guides to get perfectly smooth cuts. With the correct adjustment the saw glides effortlessly across the track. I've read where some people say that the saw is underpowered but I did not feel the saw bog down at all. So perhaps they were using dull blades. In fact, this saw has the same rating as high end Makita saws. My only complaint is that no dust bag is supplied. Even though a shop vac can be connected I opted for a dust bag from my miter saw that kept things tidy and actually filled up very quickly. The optional clamps are ingenious and came in handy. This saw was a great purchase- wanted one for years but all the competition was way too expensive. Yes, there's a lot of plastic parts BUT there's also a lot of good design and engineering, and most importantly fantastic, accurate result immediately. Stock blade cut table saw clean - track and clamps well machined and accurate...my little shop vac got 90% of the dust but covering the hole on the side helps... very impressed and recommended! ... show more
