I am not a professional, but have been doing my own acrylic nails for 3 decades now. I have tried the square and rounded type. Neither of those did a very good job because they didn't fold under the nail very well and acrylic would get under it or they just didn't stick. I decided to try these because I was tired of having to rework the underside of the nail and dealing with the weird shape from poor folding. These are an excellent size. They are long enough for anyone looking for VERY long nails, and they are wide enough to properly roll under the nail. These stick really well to the finger tip and to the other side, so combined with the width, they form a perfect arc under the nail and don't wave or buckle. These also allow release of the dried acrylic once the nail is dry without fighting with it. It is VERY easy to put on and the sizing guide it nice. I admit I wasn't expecting much for this price, but this is an excellent price. Especially given that so far, each one off the paper works correctly and I am not having to throw them out because they either don't release from the paper or aren't staying on the finger (like my previous ones). In other words, these are very durable for the short time you need it. I also like the packaging. They are in a folded, flat configuration instead of in a roll, which is much easier to deal with. The guide lines on the forms aren't all straight, but they're close enough that it doesn't matter much. You can see in my picture that they are ever-so-slightly off centered. The forms are made with a thick, sturdy material and good quality adhesive so they stick properly, but are also easy to remove. I love the longer length so I could make longer extensions if I wanted to. ... show more

This is the second time I've bought these. They aren't perfect, bit they get the job done very well. They are sticky enough and stay on most of the time. I think that's where the quality might differ from a higher end brand. Otherwise they're a great value!

    • Nice shape but not good with polygel products

The forms give the nails a beautiful shape, however they lose adhesion when placing the nail under UV/LED light to cure polygel. Also, they lose adhesion when applying the alcohol to polygel while building onto the forms. It's just a bit problematic, but I was still able to build a gorgeous set of nails with these forms.
