I have tried many different types of latex including dunlop, continous process and talalay and this is one of the best ones I have tried. I prefer zoned latex, because I am a side sleeper and this topper was a dream come true because zoned is hard to find. There were no tears or crumbly parts, it looked perfect out of the box. The only issue is that King is cut so that the zoning is vertical and you're meant to use the flip side. I needed different zones for my shoulder so I rotated it and just purchased a custom cut latex piece to fill the space in my bed from a DIY latex store. So it worked out.     • Synthetic latex... lied to in description
I purchased this topper in medium to act as a transition layer between my poly foam base layer and tempur supreme 3 inch topper. I was extremely disappointed to receive it and realize it is synthetic latex (or blended), not all natural latex. The description said welletex uses "100% natural premium latex", and talks about how synthetic latex is dull, so it seemed from the description this was natural latex. I have a natural latex queen topper on a different bed, and a king synthetic topper from a ghostbed that I deconstructed, and this topper feels exactly like the ghostbed one but firmer. You can tell the natural latex is more "springy" and the synthetic latex is more "dull" or has a more "dead" feel to it. Although it did help with the "feel" of the mattress, I feel gyped and now have to choose to either accept I received an inferior product than advertised or go through the frustrating return process of trying to send a latex topper that had been vacuum sealed back in a cardboard box it was not designed to fit in, or try to force the company to send me a bigger cardboard box to return it. ... show more
