This Wella Professionals Oil Reflections Luminous Hair Care Oil smells so good. The formula is light, but I used it after drying my hair from about my ears down, and my hair is softer than usual. It does not look any glossier, but my hair has highlights, and I am not sure anything will make it noticeably shiny. I will keep trying.

Wella Professionals Oil Reflections Light Luminous Reflective Hair Oil, Finishing Oil For Fine to Normal Hair, 3.4 fl oz I'm a Wella fan girl. Except when it comes to the fact that they keep changing their products. Everytime I get a regime going that works for me, it seems they change something. I started using a Wella oil several years ago when I hit menopause and my hair dried out. I was using the Wella SP Luxe Oil Reconstructive Elixir Oil. Then one day it disappeared from their online store. I was able to get it on Amazon for awhile and I presume I was buying from circulating stock with no additional product being produced. Then along comes this new incarnation of their hair oil. The ingredients are different but the new variation seems to be as effective as the original (although I really hate change and don't know why we had to move on from the original). I credit Wella with bringing my hair back to life after menopause. After showering I mix some of the oil with my curl cream and let my hair dry naturally. Then I hit it with a little heat, and style with styling gel mixed with more oil. If ever I feel I have any residual dryness going on anywhere - yup, more oil. If you have dry hair, it doesn't make your hair look oily - it rehydrates it so it looks - normal. I'm glad Wella is continuing this product in some variation. I'm sure just when I come to love this incarnation, they'll change it. However overall, I'm pleased with the Wella oil. I did try another high end brand and if I recall it was more expensive for less and didn't work as well.

This hair oil didn't really stand out to me. It performs well, but so do other brands you can find at your local store. It didn't seem like anything special to me. That being said, it's still of good quality. It smells good and adds a nice shine.

I got this product as it specifically mentions it is for Fine to Normal hair types. I consider my hair to be fine textured. It is straight and comes to mid shoulder length (long hair). I was hoping this product would give my hair shine and smooth fly-aways, however it did not work for me. While I did notice the oil made my hair feel soft and added a bit of luster, there was very little smoothing effect (there were still lots of fly-aways). Also, it says use 1 to 2 pumps, but 1 pump was more than enough for me. Though my hair did feel soft and had some shine, by the end of the day, my hair looked weighed down and slightly oily, even though I did not put the product anywhere near my scalp - I just applied it from mid length to the ends. The smell personally did not bother me, but the product has a baby powder type fragrance that some people may not like. My overall assessment is that this is an ok product, but I think it is better suited for normal and thicker hair types. It will soften and add shine, but it is simply too heavy for fine hair and doesn’t do a great job with smoothing frizz.

If the weather is super dry my wife is super upset. This stuff came to her rescue and did wonders for the frizz that was driving her nuts. Wella is a famous, faaaaaaaaamous brand that's been around forever and for good reason. Their products deliver on promises This filled our bathroom with the wonderful scent of vanilla bean, according to my wife it didn't feel greasy at all and also didn't leave its scent all over her hair after a while and left her hair feeling ultra smooth, soft and she couldn't stop running her fingers through it Want your hair to look and feel like silk? This is the stuff

This hair oil smelled nice and didn't leave my hair too weighed down. My hair is shiny and soft after using it. However, I dont normally use silicone based products due to build up. This is an average hair oil and for the price you could get a hair oil with higher quality ingredients.

it's very light weight even when used on dry hair. does not leave hair feeling oily and smells good. Left my hair feeling soft and less frizzy!
