Boys will be boys as most of us know growing kids can beat the crap out of their shoes fast, how it’s done is a mystery, I have a 14 year old next month, and I just bought him a pair of different steal toe water resistant boots that lasted I think a month and a half before there was a hole in the sole so these are up next only had for a few days he likes that says they are pretty comfortable he said he can’t feel the steal toe and so far keeping his feet dry in Washington weather, they look good I accidentally got them a little to big so I would say they are true sizes. I will update in a month or so see if they are still in play…. So far so good

Comfortable well made boot with a strong well designed sole. Unfortunately the Velcro closure is poorly designed and not functional. The closure is small with a dog leg shape and easily becomes unlatched with very little pressure. The closures should be straight and twice as large to be effective

Fits a bit big for the size, but you'll need that room to add memory foam or some other type of cushion. Great for its still toe, water resistance, and slip resistance. The fastening could be better. I have to readjust it often during the day. I'll use them but I'm not going to buy another pair.
