The fabric is odd. Up close it has little metallic rectangles printed on the fabric. It looks very cheap in person. I ordered 2 dresses by this designer/ brand and they were both nice, bra friendly styles but cheap fabrics. Not something I would wear.

04/23: I love this dress and can’t wait to wear it as my MOB dress at my daughter’s wedding next month. It is an Alex Evening, so the style and quality are on point. The color is beautiful and very flattering. I’m 5’1” and with a 3” heels it only needs slight hemming and taken up a little on the shoulders. The fabric drapes beautifully and is so soft and comfortable. As the MOB, I was concerned the side slit would be too high but it isn’t. It stops at or about an inch above the knee. Big +, I can wear a regular bra with it too. The brooch at the waist is not detachable, but it’s pretty and I will wear some dangling black stone earrings and bracelet. Wore this to a banquet. It was very comfortable. The slip is high enough that it helps me not look so short. Only complaint is the arm holes are a tad big and my bra showed a big. I’m have a sizeable chest though, so that probably doesn’t happen with others.
