I bought this microphone because my car radio has a 3.5mm input for calls. The built-in microphone needed help and this one does the job. The cord was easy to use and install although, I should add, I have experience. The product looks appealing and professional (with my install), the sound is what I expected. The provided 3m adhesive strip is very strong. There were clips provided to attach the microphone to the sun visor just in case you don't want to use the adhesive. Picked this up for my sons 2003 ford f150. The one that came with the radio was to short so we went with this one due to the length. At 16ft it is to long but better to long than to short. We were able to properly route the cable from the center headliner to the stereo. We tied up the remaining line and tucked it away.
