I was curious if these would actually feel like real battle ropes, and they do a better job than I expected. They’re obviously not exactly the same as using long anchored ropes, but they still give a really good arm, shoulder, and cardio workout. I like that I can use them at home without needing a lot of space or mounting anything to the wall. The weighted handles give enough resistance to get your heart rate up fast, especially during short HIIT rounds. They’re also easier on the joints than some high-impact workouts, so I can see these being great for beginners or anyone wanting a lower-impact option. The included poster was helpful too for getting started with different movements. The only thing is that if you’re used to super heavy traditional battle ropes, these may not feel as intense in the resistance department. I own real battle ropes, the heavy, angry-looking ones that live in the corner judging me. These weightless battle ropes are what I grab when I don’t feel like dragging out the big boys. They’re definitely lighter than traditional ropes, so if you’re looking to feel like you’re fighting a sea monster, these aren’t it. But don’t get it twisted. Do enough reps and your arms will know exactly what happened. I used them a few times and had that “why did I do this yesterday” soreness the next day. They’re perfect for small spaces, apartments, home gyms, or anyone who wants a quick workout without turning setup into a full workout itself. No dramatic results yet, but they clearly work if you actually use them. Great for convenience and value. Great for consistency.
