It was suggested I get a weighted blanket. I thought it was be hot and heavy. I had no great expectations but to try it and return it if I didn’t like it. I told a friend I’ll give it one night. I also don’t usually go out of my way to write reviews, but this blanket has been an unexpected nice surprise. It is heavy, but it is definitely not hot. It feels breathable. Even when it is hot it feels like it cools. Even when it is cold, it keeps me warm enough. It is all I need to cover myself with. It is also a great price. I was going to choose between this cheaper one and a more expensive one, expecting to have to return the cheaper one, but I absolutely love this blanket. I am not one to easily impress. I’m usually disappointed in purchases, but this one is a must have!

I ordered the lowest weighted blanket (recommended by the manufacturer based on persons weight). My daughter is anxious and worries a lot about everything. I bought this thinking it would help calm her at night and she can sleep without so much worry. It was worth a try. It works. The only thing is she wishes it was a bit heavier. I read some people worry they will feel squished by the weight of it, she likes it. SO the weight does really help calm her and feels reassuring. She hasn't complained about any unevenness of the weighted material moving to one area more than another. She loves it so much it makes me want to get one now and try it! :-)

This is a great blanket, it distributes the weight well and feels like a giant hug. My only complaint is that it is about impossible to wash so I suggest buying some type of duvet cover or something similar. It has held up great and definitely worth the money.

Well… I like this weighted blanket okay, but not sure if it’s really the one I ordered. I read reviews about this being “cooling”, it’s not. I keep our house temp at 66 degrees at night and I sweat under this blanket. Reviews said the material is real soft, it’s not, it’s actually a little itchy. I don’t even know if it’s the weight I order because it’s not on the label or package anywhere.
