This basic book has finally made it possible to track all my purchases and checks. It allowed me to do a better job managing our grocery budget, and it made it easy to track monthly and seasonal expenses. I planned a graduation party and noted each related expense on one of the lined pages in the back of the book. Each week, after totaling the daily expenses, I then itemize them in the lined section on the bottom right of each weekly page. I bought this to track my weekly budget hoping that it will make budgeting easy. I like the front of the planner because it has a calendar that you can write in the month and date. Next to the calendar you can write your bills the due date and do other things on the same page. The daily tracker in the back I do not use. I’ve tried to use it different ways but it is not use for me. I will continue to use the calendar and the bill pay tracker once that’s done I will find something else ... show more

There are no opinions for other cover print but the floral is very pretty so I don't mind. On the inside cover there is a place to make the book yours and write your start and finish dates. Next is an introduction on how to best use the book. After that is "thinking ahead" where you can put monthly Income, major expenses and savings goals. After that starts the monthly budget pages, enough for a year. Then comes the "weekly spending tracker". I feel you can use this as a weekly budgeting sheet as well as a weekly spending tracker (or at least that's my intent) Again there is enough for a full year. Then we have near the back "my year end summary" where you can give a total breakdown of all 12 months. Next is two empty lined pages for "next year's budget goals" followed by another 5 empty lined pages for "notes" All in all it seems well made and well thought out. I have not written in mine yet as I'm waiting for the first week of next month but I foresee no problems so far. ... show more
