I was reading several reviews where they had said it never puffed, but mine did fully within less than an hour, I still waited the whole 24 hours before use tho. It's very comfortable and I hope it will help me start sleeping on my back more. It did have a bit of a smell, but that was expected and it went away. Be careful when cutting it open, I did nick mine with scissors way easier than expected. I had purchased it on sale for 20 dollars and am very happy with it :) ... show more

My camper came with a mattress upgrade, but my husband and I found the mattress was still too hard for our taste. It made us both wake up throughout the night to change positions due to pressure on hips, shoulders, etc., and our lower backs were stiff when we first got out of bed. I purchased this Weekender topper almost a year ago. Previous to this purchase, I was moving a Sealy brand 2" topper back and forth between my guest bed and my camper bed. All the moving was beginning to tear my Sealy topper. My local discount retailer no longer carried the Sealy topper, so I ordered this one to permanently place on the camper bed. It seems the foam of this topper may be a little softer than my Sealy topper. With the Weekender topper, I can still feel the harder mattress below. My husband and I are average height and build, so I don't think we put undue pressure on the topper. Nonetheless, this topper did make the bed comfortable enough to sleep without waking from sore pressure points throughout the night, and neither my husband nor I have a stiff lower back in the morning as we did on the mattress alone. I sleep hot, so I combined this with a cooling cotton mattress cover (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0756VY391/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1), and I am happy with this solution. I rated this 4 stars instead of 5 due to being able to feel the firm mattress below, but all in all, my husband and I are happy with our camper bed since adding this topper with the Oaksys mattress pad/cover.
