Ordered the twin size for my 10 year old. She loves it. It’s sturdy and she likes the color. I do wish the screws weren’t silver since the frame is gold but oh well, it is what it is. I put it together myself in about 1.5 hours. My husband was available to help but he doesn’t read instructions and this frame is not the type where you can just eyeball it and know what you’re doing. The instructions are def necessary!! So with (proper) help it probably would have taken 45 mins. ... show more

    • Not as bad as everyone says
Took me about an hour to build by myself, except when attaching the center piece to the head and foot. Had my son help for a couple of minutes for that stage. Instructions are simple, only four pages. It IS a lot of pieces, but since the "slats" just slide in, a lot of the pieces go very quickly. Take the time to count and sort the nuts, bolts, and washers, and it's super easy. Throw away the little wrench they give you and pull out a small metric socket and ratchet. That will save you some time. Only complaint is that the very last hole doesn't line up, on the canopy frame. Two short poles slide together to make one long one, and a little bolt holds them together. The pole does not slide in far enough to be able to put the bolt in. Left it out, don't see any problems with it. It's screwed in at each end, and would have to flex about two inches to come apart. Sturdy bed for my daughter, and she is super happy. ... show more

I ordered the gold frame for my teen daughter. She is loving it so far. It took a while to put together, but she is very happy with it. I don't recommend it for anyone weighing over 150 for the twin size. She is thin and light so it should last a long time, but it isn't super sturdy for larger people. ... show more

The bed is beautiful but when I opened the box, the product seemed like it was used and put back in the box. Pieces were out of their plastic bags, the instructions were ripped and missing a page, and the screws were unorganized. Once the bed was put together, it was what I wanted.
