The best tape on the market

I really didnt think someone could possibly improve on something as simple as double sided tape, but here i am writing a review for golf grip tape. Something as simple as a perforation in the center of the tape has made gripping so much easier. In the past i would have to stick the middle of the tape down the shaft. Sometimes you misalign the center and the tape would either need to be pulled off (leaving oils from your fingers on the back of the tape) or it would be applied crooked. What a pain! With this golf grip tape you no longer have to worry. The perforation down the middle of the tape serves as a fantastic way to align the tape onto the center of the saft! Lets say you get the tape on perfect your first try. In the past you would need to slide your thumb or finger up and down the shaft in one direction until you reach the end. Then you would pull the film back from the entire edge and slowly work your way back around the other side of the club. The more film you peel back the more it gets in the way as you try to press the tape into the club. Wedge Guys solved that with the perforation. Halfway through your application, half the film will be able to peel off. This way it no longer gets in the way of a perfect application! I really didnt think i would get jazzed up about some golf grip tape... but like i said earlier, here i am writing a review!

Different than the ones that come with Solvent/tape bundles

Not as nice as the tape that comes with the Wedge Guys Solvent. For some reason they are selling two different kinds without labeling them differently. These ones don’t seem to allow the grip to slide on as easily as the ones that come with the solvent bundles. These ones are easier to apply to the shaft since you can slide your fingers/hands across it easier when applying them (but it does cause a TON of paper fibers to rub off). Will have to see how these hold up compared to the ones that come with the bundles. They don’t see to stick as well.

Stick Well and Easy Installation When Using Solvent

I'm a really extensive shopper, meaning I'll go through each product and read all the reviews before making my decision. I like looking at the percentages of reviews as well to help with the indication. I strongly feel like the 5 star reviews are more accurate than the 1 stars - here's why: The product is nice and sticky and stuck well to my clubs. On the clubs where I needed a little more 'stick', I would simply cut a strip down to the size I needed which seemed to work very well. I feel like following the instructions really helped as well. I ended up also purchasing their grip kit which included the vise, solvent and strips. The solvent made sliding my new grip on a breeze, and I've only regripped golf clubs a handful of times in the past. I like the fact that these grip strips are made in the USA, and how well these worked. I'll definitely be purchasing these again in the future when my new grips wear out. **EDIT** I added a quick product review video - I filmed it with my phone so sorry if you get sea sick! :)

Worked well and easy to do. Not sure if they all are, but I liked how it is split down the middle when removing the backside tape so you can wrap one side at a time and then peel the tape.
